Graze Best of USA Box
Hey Lovelies,
Recently I was lucky enough to receive a very exciting parcel from Graze which included 4 limited edition Best of USA snacks. I don't know about you, but I love American food. It's so delicious, but sadly for my waistline some foods from across the pond can also be quite high in calories. So being sent a parcel from Graze which included 4 American snacks all under 150 calories was not only great news for my taste buds, but also for my figure haha!
Graze Best of USA Box
I didn't actually know that you could also order Graze boxes in the USA (for some reason I thought they were only available in England, silly me!). For a limited time only, UK customers are able to order some of the Graze snacks which are available in the USA. I think that this is a great idea from Graze because let's be honest, who doesn't love American food! Well without further ado, let's delve into the 4 punnets I was sent.
Graze Best of USA Box New York Everything Bagel
New York Everything Bagel*, 130 calories
New York is the one place in the world I want to visit more than anything so I obviously loved receiving a New York bagel inspired snack! A New York Everything bagel is basically an American bagel with all the seasonings. The Graze New York Everything bagel is probably a lot healthier than the real thing. It also contains a fraction of the calories haha! What you get in this punnet is a combination of poppy seeds and onion sesame sticks. This obviously isn't as filling as a proper American bagel, but it's still a very tasty snack nonetheless and you can really taste the poppy seeds in it.
Graze Best of USA Box Campfire Smores
Campfire Smores*, 133 calories
Smores is something I had heard of, probably from watching American TV shows or films but I wasn't quite sure exactly what they were. The leaflet which tells me more about the products I received in my Graze Best Of USA box tells me that they are a classic American snack inspired by melting chocolate and marshmallows over a campfire. How delicious does that sound!! Sadly Graze don't provide you with melted chocolate and marshmallows, however what you do get is a punnet  of salted almond milk chocolate buttons, sponge pieces and mini vanilla marshmallows. I can confirm that this snack tastes as delicious as it sounds and I would quite happily munch my way through boxes of this stuff if I could. This punnet reminded me a little of Lucky Charms cereal and hot chocolate which I used to have when I was a kid.
Graze Best of USA Box Creamy Ranch Kern Pops Creamy Ranch Kern Pops*, 138 calories
I didn't actually think I would enjoy this snack because it contains popcorn kernels which I am not the biggest fan of. I personally prefer popped popcorn. However I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Creamy Ranch Kern Pops. Maybe it's because the popcorn kernels are baked rather than fried and topped with a classic American creamy ranch dressing which makes them more tasty than I thought they would be.
Graze Best of USA Box Stars and Stripes
Stars and Stripes*, 130 calories
Ok so no American themed box would be complete without a Stars and Stripes product. The Graze team in the USA created this product to celebrate their Independence Day on the 4th of July. It contains blueberry infused cranberries, raspberry stings and blackcurrant fruit stars. Being a bit of a dried food lover meant that I really enjoyed eating this snack. It reminded me a little bit of Fruit Stings which you often find in children's lunch boxes, except the Graze version is a lot tastier! The fact that you actually get stars and stripes shaped dried fruit in this punnet is a super cute and original touch from Graze!
Now I'm really sorry if this post has left you feeling incredibly hungry but fret not, you can order a Graze Best of USA Box from the Graze website for £4.99. Be quick, because I've been told that there is only a limited number of these boxes available. Click here if you'd like to get your hands on one!

I know it's something a bit different for my blog because I usually post about beauty products on here, but I really enjoyed receiving this box and eating all the snacks that I wanted to share them with you lovely lot. Another little MAC haul...

MAC Haul Soar Whirl Indianwood
Hey Lovelies,
You know you own too much make up when you buy products and they get buried underneath your make up stash. You completely forget about them until you are tidying your collection and find a bunch of stuff you haven't even opened yet! This is what happened to me this week anyway. I seem to forever be placing MAC orders (everybody loves a bit of MAC, right?!), and these are some products that I recently purchased and forgot about.
MAC Haul Soar Lipliner Whirl Lipliner Indianwood Paintpot
MAC's Indianwood Pro Longwear Paint Pot has been on my wish list for quite some time. I'm generally a big fan of the brand's paint pots anyway. They not only come in a variety of colours but you can also wear them on their own or as an eyeshadow base. My eye make up never creases or fades throughout the day when I use a MAC paint pot, and a few of my friends have actually commented saying they are amazed how well my eye make up stays on throughout the day. MAC Indianwood is very opaque. It's the most gorgeous bronze colour that's perfect for autumn. It actually reminds me a little bit of the blogger favourite MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow. I think MAC Indianwood would look amazing on all skintones and eye colours. It's a really warm shade and if you are lucky enough to have blue eyes, it would really make your eye colour pop!
MAC Pro Longwear Indianwood Paint Pot
I seem to be jumping on the lip liner bandwagon quite late. I usually spend quite a long time doing my make up and perfecting my base, eyes, brows and winged liner as best as I can. By the time I get to my lips in my make up routine I am either running late or just fed up of painting my face that I throw on a nude lipstick and head out the door. Recently I decided it is time to change this and invested in 2 of MAC's most popular lip pencils that everyone and their dog either seem to own or have at least heard of: Soar and Whirl. According to the MAC website, Soar is a mid-tone pinkish brown and Whirl is a dirty rose colour. I decided to treat myself to both of these colours because I love a nude lip and it's what all the cool kids seem to be wearing at the moment haha!
Here are the swatches of the 3 items I picked up:
I hope you've enjoyed this little haul. Let me know what you think in the comments section below and don't forget to leave me your blog link so I can check out your blog too!

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Review

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel
Hey Lovelies,
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! I know I haven't posted on here in a while but I've been quite busy lately. I also work in retail and with our busiest time of year coming up, I am not quite sure how much I'll be blogging over November and December but I will try my best. I've got today off though which is nice, so I thought I'd bring you a little review on the Illamasqua Hydra Veil primer which I have been using over the past month or so. I picked this little beauty up a few months ago after hearing various make up artists and bloggers rave about it.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel
The first thing I had to get used to with the Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer is its packaging. It comes in a black pot which includes a little spatula that is stored securely in the lid. I am trying my best to not lose the spatula because you need use it to hygienically scoop the primer out of the pot. Now I am used to silicone based primers such as Porefesional by Benefit or the Smashbox Photo Finish primers which come in a squeezy tube. I find those a lot less easy (and messy) to use. However that is my only gripe with Illamasqua's Hydra Veil and I am guessing that they chose this type of packaging for their product because of its consistency. Here's a picture so you can see what I mean.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel
Hydra Veil has a very different consistency to any other primers I have ever used. This product looks like clear jelly and leaves a lovely cooling feeling on the skin when you apply it. I have found that this product feels very lightweight on my skin and creates an even, smooth base for me to apply my makeup on.
The Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer also contains refined hyaluronic acid. Now don't be scared by the word acid, this is an ingredient our body produces naturally and you can also find it in many skincare products.
I completed a 5 day course at the Illamasqua Make Up School in London where we were taught that the best way to to apply this primer using a flat topped foundation brush, and that's what I've been doing. This technique works great for me! I have also heared that you don't necessarily need to use a moisturiser when using Hydra Veil because it works as a moisturiser and primer in one. However that is something I personally wouldn't do as I think it is always best to use a separate moisturiser.
All in all I have found that Illamasqua's Hydra Veil works as a great primer, and I feel my foundation looks more flawless and stays on longer when I use it. This product is probably best suited for those of us who have dry or dehydrated skin. I know the brand also does a Matte Veil which I am guessing is designed for people with oily skin, and they have also recently released Radiance Veil which I have not tried but I quite like the sound of, as anything that can add radiance to my skin in a winner for me!
You can buy Illamasqua primers online or at your nearest Illamasqua counter, and Hydra Veil retails for £32.00.
Which primer do you use? Let me know in the comments below! I hope you've enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading and until next time,
