My apologies for yet another MAC post on my blog. I know Dolled Up London is slowly becoming a tribute to MAC haha! What can I say, other than I love the brand so much so that I recently placed a mahoosive MAC order that I am sharing with you, post by post. Today's post is another haul, featuring the latest additions to my MAC eyeshadow collection. In my humble opinion, MAC eyeshadows are amongst the best out on the market. They are available in probably the largest colour range I have seen from any brand. Not only that, but you also can find a MAC eyeshadow in any formula your heart may desire. They range from matte finishes to lustre finishes and everything else in between. I have found MAC eyeshadows to be extremely pigmented. Not only that, but they are also long wearing (especially when used with an eyeshadow primer) and blend like a dream. I love MAC eyeshadows so much that I am in the process of building another MAC 15 pan palette, and here are the latest shadows I recently purchased. Enjoy!
Top Row L-R
This eyeshadow has a matte finish and is shade that is often used as an eyebrow colour. My brows are far too dark to use Omega as a brow colour on, but I still wanted to add the colour to my collection, because you know, a girl can never have enough neutral eyeshadows in her life.
This eyeshadow is quite famous in the blogging world and as a self confessed MAC eyeshadow addict, I knew I needed to add it to my collection. This shade has a lovely satin finish and look beautiful as an inner corner and brow bone highlight.
I treated myself to Ricepaper because somehow I can never resist and eyeshadow with a frost finish. It has a really warm tone to it which I love, and just like Brule, it works great as a highlight colour.
Bottom Row L-R
This shade has a veluxe pearl finish and as the name suggests, it's a gorgeous copper colour. I can't wait till autumn and winter time when I am sure I will be wearing MAC Coppering a lot!
MAC Swiss Chocolate
I love Swiss chocolate and when I saw MAC do an eyeshadow by that name, I just new I had to pick it up. Swiss Chocolate has a matte finish and I usually wear it blended through my crease. If like me you love brown, warm toned eyeshadows, do check Swiss Chocolate out, it's a beauty!
This eyeshadow has a frost finish. It's a beautiful shade that I love using as an all over lid colour. As you can probably tell by this haul, I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows and Bronze is definitely a shade I would recommend because it's one of those no-fuss colours that looks great, even if it's just worn on its own.
Here are some swatches of the eyeshadows for y'all to see. Let's start with the top row, which features Omega, Brule and Ricepaper respectively.
Here are swatches of the bottom row, which features Coppering, Swiss Chocolate and Bronze. The eyeshadows are swatched from left to right.
MAC eyeshadows retail for £13.00 if you buy them in a pot. If you only buy the pan they cost £10.00, and you can purchase a palette separately to place your eyeshadows in. I find building your own palette is part of the fun when investing in MAC eyeshadows, which is probably how I ended up on my second 15-pan MAC palette haha!
