Travalo Classic Review

Travalo Classic Review
Hey Lovelies,
Recently I was given the opportunity to review the Travalo Classic*. It's a handy travel sized perfume atomiser which allows you to decant your favourite fragrance so you can take it along with you where ever you go.
The way the Travalo Classic* works is so simple yet so clever: All you need to do is take off the cap from your perfume bottle, put your Travalo Classic* onto the stem and pump until it is full. This process does not even take a minute and a full Travalo Classic* will give you 65 sprays. Not bad, eh? It's completely leak proof and even has a shatterproof window that lets you see how much of your fragrance you have left.
Travalo Classic
I am loving this handy little device because it means my treasured bottle of Chanel No 5 can stay safely at home whilst I carry my Travalo Classic* around with me in my handbag. The Travalo Classic* is so tiny, it would even fit in the tiniest of clutch bags and what's more, you can pop it in your liquids bag at the airport should you be travelling and not wanting to check your luggage into the hold. I don't think I will ever be going abroad again without my little Travalo Classic*!
I have filled my Travalo Classic* with the iconic Chanel No 5 perfume. I am not yet sure how easy it is to change fragrances without purchasing a new Travalo, so if anyone has any tips on this do let me know in the comments below. That said, I don't think I'll be getting bored of Chanel No 5 anytime soon anyway haha!
You can buy the Travalo Classic* online or at Debenhams. It retails for £12.50 and is available in 10 different colours.
I hope you've enjoyed this post and until next time,

MAC Eyeshadow Haul

MAC Eyeshadow Haul
Hey Lovelies,
My apologies for yet another MAC post on my blog. I know Dolled Up London is slowly becoming a tribute to MAC haha! What can I say, other than I love the brand so much so that I recently placed a mahoosive MAC order that I am sharing with you, post by post. Today's post is another haul, featuring the latest additions to my MAC eyeshadow collection. In my humble opinion, MAC eyeshadows are amongst the best out on the market. They are available in probably the largest colour range I have seen from any brand. Not only that, but you also can find a MAC eyeshadow in any formula your heart may desire. They range from matte finishes to lustre finishes and everything else in between. I have found MAC eyeshadows to be extremely pigmented. Not only that, but they are also long wearing (especially when used with an eyeshadow primer) and blend like a dream. I love MAC eyeshadows so much that I am in the process of building another MAC 15 pan palette, and here are the latest shadows I recently purchased. Enjoy!
MAC Eyeshadow Haul
Top Row L-R
MAC Omega
This eyeshadow has a matte finish and is shade that is often used as an eyebrow colour. My brows are far too dark to use Omega as a brow colour on, but I still wanted to add the colour to my collection, because you know, a girl can never have enough neutral eyeshadows in her life.
MAC Brule
This eyeshadow is quite famous in the blogging world and as a self confessed MAC eyeshadow addict, I knew I needed to add it to my collection. This shade has a lovely satin finish and look beautiful as an inner corner and brow bone highlight.
MAC Ricepaper
I treated myself to Ricepaper because somehow I can never resist and eyeshadow with a frost finish. It has a really warm tone to it which I love, and just like Brule, it works great as a highlight colour.

Bottom Row L-R
MAC Coppering
This shade has a veluxe pearl finish and as the name suggests, it's a gorgeous copper colour. I can't wait till autumn and winter time when I am sure I will be wearing MAC Coppering a lot!
MAC Swiss Chocolate
I love Swiss chocolate and when I saw MAC do an eyeshadow by that name, I just new I had to pick it up. Swiss Chocolate has a matte finish and I usually wear it blended through my crease. If like me you love brown, warm toned eyeshadows, do check Swiss Chocolate out, it's a beauty!
MAC Bronze
This eyeshadow has a frost finish. It's a  beautiful shade that I love using as an all over lid colour. As you can probably tell by this haul, I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows and Bronze is definitely a shade I would recommend because it's one of those no-fuss colours that looks great, even if it's just worn on its own.
Here are some swatches of the eyeshadows for y'all to see. Let's start with the top row, which features Omega, Brule and Ricepaper respectively.

Here are swatches of the bottom row, which features Coppering, Swiss Chocolate and Bronze. The eyeshadows are swatched from left to right.

MAC eyeshadows retail for £13.00 if you buy them in a pot. If you only buy the pan they cost £10.00, and you can purchase a palette separately to place your eyeshadows in. I find building your own palette is part of the fun when investing in MAC eyeshadows, which is probably how I ended up on my second 15-pan MAC palette haha!
What are your favourite MAC eyeshadows? Don't forget to let me know in the comments below! I hope you've enjoyed this post and until next time,

MAC Girl About Town

Hey Lovelies,
I hope you are all well! Sorry about the lack of posts lately. I was away in Edinburgh at the weekend and I was also having some technical issues with my blog which have since been resolved, so it's business as usual from me again. As I didn't get to post on Sunday which I usually do, I thought I would treat you all to a mid week post. I know my last blog post was about MAC, and this post is about MAC as well. What can I say other than that I have been going a little bit MAC crazy lately and purchasing everything plus the kitchen sink from MAC. Ok, so maybe not the kitchen sink but you know what I mean haha!
MAC Girl About Town LipstickSo my latest MAC purchase is their iconic Girl About Town lipstick which I am seriously in love with. It's the perfect shade to wear in the summer and I think it would brighten up any make up collection. This lipstick is incredibly pigmented, creamy and long wearing. MAC describe Girl About Town as a bright blue fuchsia. I am not usually a blue toned lipstick kind of person but for this particular shade I will make an exception. Girl About Town is, as the name might suggest, a bright, loud and fun colour to wear. Here's a swatch for you all to admire:
MAC Girl About Town Swatch
I can easily see why this shade is so popular, and I think it would suit a variety of different skintones. I for one can wear it if I am fake tanned or not, and that's always a big bonus for me haha!
MAC lipsticks retail for £15.50 and are available online or at your nearest MAC counter.
What's you favourite MAC lipstick for summer? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading and until next time,
