Zoeva Brush Haul!

Zoeva Brushes
Hello Lovelies,
I hope you are all good and that you've had a fab week! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will have seen that I was in Germany this week. I went to Berlin with 2 of my friends and we had an amazing time! It's a fantastic city with a great vibe, delicious food and lots of history so if you haven't been yet, I'd really recommend going! On our last day in Berlin we did a little bit of shopping and popped into Douglas, which is Germany's answer to Sephora. Obviously it would have been rude not to buy anything from Douglas, so after browsing the store for quite some time, I decided to treat myself to a couple of Zoeva make up brushes. I've had my eye on this brand for a while now, so you can imagine how excited I got when I spotted and entire stand of Zoeva make up brushes haha!
Zoeva Make Up Brushes Haul
As far as I am aware you can only buy Zoeva brushes online in the UK. After hearing just about every blogger and their dog rave about this brand over the last few months, I knew I needed to add a few of their make up brushes to my collection. Here's a little lowdown for you on the 4 brushes I picked up. Words can't describe how excited I am to start using them haha! I really hope they live up to the hype, and so far I can confirm that they all feel super soft and luxurious, which is great considering they come with a drugstore (ie inexpensive) price tag! All the brushes are made of synthetic hair and are cruelty free.
Zoeva 104 Buffer Brush
This is a rather large flat topped buffing brush which I think would be quite good for applying mineral powder foundation, but you could definitely use it to apply your liquid foundation as well. I'm not quite sure how I will be using this brush but I really liked the look of it which is why I decided to pick it up.
Zoeva 102 Silk Finish Brush
I have heard so many great things about this brush! Ever since my beloved Real Techniques Buffing Brush died (RIP), I have been looking for a replacement, and I have high hopes that the Zoeva Silk Finish Brush will be it! I am planning to use this brush to apply my foundation.
Zoeva 109 Luxe Face Paint Brush
This is the brush I am most excited about using because I have never owned or used a similar brush to it. The bristles of this brush are quite dense and I can imagine that you'll get quite a strong contour effect when using this brush.
Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer Brush
This brush reminds me a lot of the Real Techniques domed eyeshadow brush which I love. I will be using it to either blend my eyeshadow or to buff in my concealer under my eyes and around my nose. I don't know about you, but I love owning several brushes that do exactly the same thing. I guess I just like having options haha!
Zoeva brushes are available online at Love Make Up in the UK. Do you own any Zoeva brushes? Which ones are your favourites?
Thank you for reading and until next time,

  1. I've wanted to get some Zoeva brushes for ages now, especially the silk finish brush, but I never want to order them online as I wanted to see them in person first! I think planning a trip to Germany just to pick up some brushes may be taking it a bit far though haha xx
