Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour CollectionHey Lovelies,
I hope you are all having a fab weekend! Not only have I not worked this weekend, but I am also off on holiday to Berlin tomorrow which I am super excited about! Before I go though I wanted to share with you the Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection which I recently purchased.
Laura Mercier's caviar sticks have been on my beauty wish list for a very long time, so when I came across the Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection in the store in which I work, I knew I had to pick it up. I think this set may be leftover stock from Christmas as I cannot find the collection anywhere online. Sorry guys, but hopefully they will bring out another collection like this next Christmas!Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour CollectionMy dilemma with the Laura Mercier Caviar sticks has always been which shades to buy, so I was excited to get my hands on a set that includes 6 different shades. My plan is to see how I get on with the caviar sticks and eventually purchase full size versions of the shades that I love the most.
Laura Mercier's Caviar Sticks are very soft and creamy, amazingly pigmented and blend like a dream. They are the type of product that makes makes you look like you spent ages doing your eyeshadow, even when you didn't. Now that's exactly my kind of product haha! The application of these is pretty foolproof. Just swipe the shade of your choice across your lid and blend. You can combine them with powder eyeshadow, which is what I tend to do, or wear them on their own or blended together; it's up to you what you prefer! I have also found the caviar sticks to be very long wearing and what's better. they don't crease on my eyelids. The entire collection comes in a retractable pen format which means that there is no need to sharpen them. Now that I have finally got my hands on these I can see what all the hype surrounding them is about!

Here's my lowdown on the 6 shades which I got in the Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection.  The colours are swatched from left to right on my arm.
Rosegold is a shimmery champagne colour that works great as an inner corner highlight.
Amethyst is a purple taupe colour with a pearl finish that I have worn as an all over lid colour to create a smokey eye.
Moonlight is a light bronze metallic colour. I've worn this shade along my lower lashline which looked really nice and brightened my eye without being too over the top.
Copper is absolutely gorgeous! I think I will be wearing this colour a lot in November and December, as that's when I tend to go for gold smokey eyes. I can imagine that this metallic golden colour would really make blue eyes pop and as it's warm toned, it would definitely compliment brown eyes as well.
Khaki is a rather interesting shade because it does not look too exciting when you swatch it, but once blended it turns into a beautiful golden brown green colour with a slight sheen to it.
Cocoa is a rich chocolate brown colour that I've used in my outer corner. I don't think I would wear this all over my eye lid as it is quite dark, but I will use it to add depth and definition when creating a smokey eye.
You can find the full size Laura Mercier caviar sticks at your local Laura Mercier counter and they retail for £20.00 each full size.
I am pretty pleased with this little purchase, and I will be taking these on holiday to Berlin with me as they are so versatile and easy to use!
Have you tried any of the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks? Which shade is your favourite?
Until next time,
