Essie Angora Cardi nail polish
Hey Lovelies,
I hope you're all well and that you've had a great weekend! My weekend off is sadly nearly over. I had a pretty relaxing Sunday and even managed to get myself down the gym. I've also just painted my nails, so I thought I'd take a few pictures and do a little NOTD post for you. The colour I am wearing today is Essie's Angora Cardi. It's a lovely shade which Essie describe as a creamy, deep dusty rose. I'd say is definitely more of a purple shade than anything else, and I always feel that my nails look quite sophisticated when I have it on haha!

I picked this up at Boots the other week while they were running one of their amazing 3 for 2 promotions. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who can never resist adding to their Essie nail polish collection whenever they are on 3 for 2! Out of all the nail polishes I've tried, Essie ones last the longest on my nails. This is why I tend to stick to Essie when it comes to nail polish.

So here you can see the nail polish on my nails. I hope you like it! As you can see, it's a rather lovely and very wearable purple-brown shade. I can't even begin to explain how difficult it was trying to get a decent picture while balancing my camera in one hand and the nail polish in the other! Next time, I think I'll use my phone if I'm taking a picture of my nails, it's certainly a lot easier than using a bulky camera!
What's your favourite Essie nail colour?

  3. This is a great shade! I wish I had more patience to apply nail polish regularly as I hate naked nails, but I just cannot wait for them to dry!! x

  4. I don't have many Essie polishes, I should have picked some more up in the boots 3 for 2 like you! This colour isn't a shade I would normally like but it has enough purple in it to spice it up a bit and make it a more modern wearable brown shade. Definitely a colour that will look great in Autumn/Winter. :)

    1. I know what you mean, it's perferct for A/W but as the weather is still quite rubbish I think I can get away with wearing it in spring too ;) xx

  5. What a beautiful shade, I love Essie nail polishes and definitely agree that they last really well on your nails. I really like 'mind your mittens' - it's a really dark navy colour, I did a blog post recently on it too :)
