Paul Mitchell Curls

Paul Mitchell Curl products
Hey Lovelies,
On the 19th of July I was lucky enough to get invited along to a Paul Mitchell event which was held at the Flemings Hotel in Mayfair. It was a lovely evening where myself and other bloggers got to meet the Paul Mitchell PR team and learn more about their brand and products.
Paul Mitchell have recently launched their Curls range in the UK, and at the end of the evening we were all given a very generous goodie bag full of Paul Mitchell Curls products to try out.
I think Paul Mitchell are spot on with their timing of the Curls range. Gone are the days when everyone wants poker straight flat hair. It's all about big hair, curls and volume now, à la Cheryl Cole and Kate Middleton. Sadly for me, I look like neither of them. My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy. I have spent most of my life trying to straighten my curls. GHDs were a God sent for me, because without them I would probably look like a 1980s rock star.
The Paul Mitchell Curls range is designed specifically for curly hair. The products will detangle curly hair and fight the dreaded frizz, which is every girl's worst enemy.
So far I have used the Paul Mitchell Spring Loaded Frizz Fighting Shampoo and the Paul Mitchell Full Circle Leave In Treatment and I love how they work on my hair. The shampoo is a lot thicker than any other shampoo I've ever used but it does work up into a rich lather and cleanses my hair nicely. The Paul Mitchell Full Circle Leave In Treatment also has a very thick consistency. These products tame my frizz and make it a lot easier for me to style my hair straight just how I like it. They also leave my hair feeling soft and looking shiny, and you get none of that stickiness you find with some haircare products.
Don't just take my word for it though, here's how lovely my hair looked after I used the Paul Mitchell Spring Loaded Frizz Fighting Shampoo and the Paul Mitchell Full Circle Leave In Treatment. (Please excuse my face, I'm still trying to work out how to take pictures of myself for blogging purposes!).
I haven't gotten round to trying the Paul Mitchell Ultimate Wave Beachy Texture Cream Gel or the Twirl Around Crunch-Free Curl Definer yet, but I will be letting you know what I think of them as soon as I do!
One of the things I found out at the event was that Paul Mitchell is a salon exclusive brand. If you find Paul Mitchell products in places like TK Maxx, chances are the products are very old or not genuine Paul Mitchell products.
Usually I use drugstore products on my hair, and I can never ever get my hair to look like how my hairdresser does it. Obviously hairdressers are trained at doing hair, and I'm not. I have found though that when I use Paul Mitchell products on my hair, it does look a little bit more professionally blow dried, so using the right products certainly makes a big difference. Paul Mitchell are also a brand that do not test on animals, so they deserve a big hooray for that!
Here's a list of all the products in the Paul Mitchell Curls range:
Paul Mitchell Spring Loaded Frizz Fighting Shampoo, 250ml £14.95
Paul Mitchell Full Circle Leave-In Treatment, 200ml £14.95
Paul Mitchell Twirl Around Crunch-Free Curl Definer, 150ml £18.95
Paul Mitchell Ultimate Wave Beachy Texture Cream-Gel, 150ml £11.95

  2. They sound great!

I have recently started having my hair highlighted, so to keep the condition, have relegated the GHD's to only night's out, so these products will be fab, as I have been trying to find good products for curly locks.

    Thanks for sharing :)
