Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream
Hey Lovelies,
Hope you're all well! Today's post is going to be all about the Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream which I was recently sent and have been trying out for the past 2 weeks.
First of all let me tell you a little about my skin type. I have combination skin and tend to get oily around my T-Zone. The rest of my face however feels very dry, and it can be quite tricky finding products that control my oily T-Zone without drying out the rest of my face.
Enter the Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream. As the name suggests, this product contains geranium which helps sooth the skin and thistle oil, which not only reduces the appearance of pores but also mattifies the skin. I love the fact that this cream comes in a cute glass bottle and has a pump. To me, products which have pumps are always more hygienic. A pump makes it easier to control how much you are using and results in less product being wasted. I only need one pump of the Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream to moisturise my entire face.
This cream is very light and feels more like a lotion. It absorbs quickly into my skin and leaves a smooth, almost matte finish, making it the perfect base for my make up. Since using this cream, I've not even had to bother with primer and now that's saying something!
I have to admit though I'm not too keen on the scent of the Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream. It's slightly too floral for my liking, but I can imagine other people liking the scent, particularly if you're a fan of geranium. Sadly I'm not, but on the plus side the smell of this cream does not linger at all so it doesn't bother me too much.
What I do really love about this cream is the effect it's having on my skin. I have not had any breakouts since using it, and my combination skin is under control. Hurray! My skin feels moisturised, my pores appear smaller and my T-Zone is less oily, meaning I don't have to powder as much during the day. So if you have combination skin and are looking for an organic, paraben free moisturiser that's going to hydrate and mattify your skin and minimise your pores, I would recommed giving the Pai Geranium and Thistle Combination Skin Cream a go. This retails for £24.00 (30ml), and is available from the Pai website with free delivery!
What moisturiser do you use?
