March Empties

Hey Lovelies,
So March is nearly over and it's time for another Empties post!
Empties
I've used up a reasonable amount of products this month which I'm quite pleased about.
I'll start with 2 body lotions, one I am very happy to have finished and another which I am gutted to have I've used up!
 Empties
Bath and Body Works Japanese Sherry Blossom Body Lotion
I got this product for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It smells amazing, absorbs quickly into the skin quickly and is also very moisturising. I haven't got anything bad to say about the Bath and Body Works Japanese Sherry Blossom Body Lotion other than the fact that it's not available in the UK. (My mum got me this from Dubai where they do have a Bath and Body Works store.)
Would Repurchase?  Yes, if only it was available in the UK!
Marc Jacobs Oh Lola! Sheer Body Lotion
This came in a gift set with the Marc Jacobs Oh Lola perfume. I only used this up rather than let it to to waste, but I don't really like body lotions that come as part of perfume gift sets as I find they are very highly fragranced but not very moisturising at all.
Would Repurchase?  No, but I would repurchase the Marc Jacobs Oh Lola! Perfume
Empties
Next up are the 2 haircare products that I used up in March
VO5 Give Me Moisture Conditioner (Dry Hair)
I'd say this is pretty much your average drugstore conditioner. It moisturised my hair and left it feeling soft. However I wouldn't go as far as saying that it transformed my hair or made it shimmering and shiny which the bottle claims it does.
Would Repurchase?  Yes
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Moisturising Shampoo
This shampoo is slightly more expensive for a drugstore shampoo which is why I was a little bit disappointed with it. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with this shampoo, I just didn't find there was anything amazing about it to justify the higher price tag.
Would Repurchase?  Maybe, but not anytime soon
Empties
I used up 2 make up items in March, and as I've been trying to downsize my make up collection lately I'm quite pleased about this!
Benefit Boing Concealer
Benefit market this as an "industrial strength' concealer which I somewhat disagree with as it is not as good as covering up blemishes as MAC's Studio Finish concealer. I used Benefit Boing as an under eye concealer which worked well for me there but it wasn't strong enough to cover up any spots of discolouration on my skin. If you are looking to use this as an under eye concealer though make sure you use an eye cream first as Benefit Boing can be a little bit drying on the delicate under eye area,
Would Repurchase?  No
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
This is one of my all time favourite foundations. It's a full coverage foundation that gives a matt finish and it lasts all day which is the best thing about it, Whenever I put this on, I do not need to retouch my make up throughout the day and it gives a really flawless finish. I especially like this foundation during warmer months when make up can slide off your face. Once you have Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation on, it will not budge!
Would Repurchase?  100% Yes
Empties
I somehow managed to finish up 2 different cleansers and an eye make up remover in month. All of these 3 products are brilliant and I'd recommend them all.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O
This is one of the best make up removers I've tried in a while, and it's finally available in the UK! Bioderna is really gentle on the skin and is great at removing make up. I've done a whole review on it which you can read by clicking here.
Would Repurchase? Yes, another bottle is on its way to me as we speak.
Superdrug Tea Tree Cleanser and Toner
Superdrug have really amazed me with their skincare lately. All Superdrug own label skincare products I have tried are brilliant, and their Tea Tree Cleanser and Toner is no exception. I was using this every morning to cleanse and tone my skin in one quick and easy step and it worked really well. This product is not suitable for the eye area but other than that I think it's great!
Would Repurchase? Yes
Lancome Bi-Facil Instant Cleanser
This is only a small sample size I got from the Lancome counter but I decided to include it in my March Empties post because I think it's a brilliant product! The Lancome Bi-Facil Instant Cleanser one of those cleansers that has 2 parts and you need to shake it before you use it. It's excellent for removing make up, and also non-greasy and gentle at the same time. If you are looking for a high end cleanser I'd really recommend this one!
Would Repurchase? This was a sample but I would purchase a full size bottle.
Empties
The last products of my March Empties are just going to be a few more randoms I've used up
Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub
Usually I love Soap and Glory scrubs, but I found this one too thick and I really didn't like the scent of it. It smells sickly sweet. The Breakfast Scrub is a good exfoliator, and if you don't mind the smell I think would work great, but this is my least favourite Soap and Glory Scrub.
Would Repurchase? No
St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Lotion
This is a really good and inexpensive fake tan that gives a nice natural colour. I've done a separate review on this product which you can read by clicking here.
Would Repurchase? Yes
Sanex Dermo Extra Control Anti Perspirant Deoderant
This is one of them 48 hour deoderants. I don't really know why they do 48-hour deoderant. Surely everyone showers and changes their clothers within 24 hours. Still this is the best deorderant I've used, it effective and doesn't leave white mark on your clothes. I've tried others in the range as well but the Dermo Extra Control Anti Perspirant is my favourite!
Would Repurchase? Yes
Well, that's it for my March Empties. What have you used up this month?
Thank you for reading.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

Hello Lovelies,
Today's post is going to be a review on the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
I got this body scrub in my Soap and Glory Best of All gift set which was on sale just before Christmas. I'm slowly working my way through all the products in the set, so I thought I'd bring you my thoughts on them all as I go along. I've been using Soap and Glory body scrubs for years and I think that they are perhaps some of the best products that Soap and Glory do. Usually I go for the Soap and Glory Flake Away scrub which is a firm favourite of mine, but rather than repurchasing it when I'd ran out I decided give my Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub a go instead.
The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub comes in a large see through plastic tub with a pink plastic lid. You get 300ml of product which is a pretty decent amount for a body scrub. I always try to buy my Soap and Glory products when Boots are running their 3 for 2 promotions, but if you are purchasing this product when it's not on promotion, it retails for £8.00.
The first thing I noticed about the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub is the scent. My word, this stuff smells A-MAZING. It smells like cookie dough with a hint of citrus and every time I get a whiff of it, I just want to eat it because it smells so good. (NB. The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub is not fit for human consumption)
The ingredients of the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub include brown sugar, sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains.
I love the fact that this product contains almond oil. Sometimes body exfoliators can feel quite abrasive on the skin, but I do not have that problem when I'm using the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. Even though it's very thick and grainy, it's also moisturising and gentle on the skin at the same time.
If you read my blog you may know that I'm a bit of a fake tan addict, so it's really important for me to exfoliate my skin properly every week. Dead skin cells + fake tan = not a good look!
I use the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub once a week. The night before I fake tan, I apply a small amount of this product onto a damp flannel and use it to exfoliate my skin, and it does a really good job at removing dead skin cells and fake tan. My skin always feels soft and moisturised after using the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub.
Even if you don't fake tan, I still really recommend the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. Hopefully spring will make an appearance soon, so we can finally get our arms and legs out instead of keeping them wrapped up in layer upon layer of warm clothing. Now is a really good time to start exfoliating and getting our legs smooth, soft and ready for some sunshine. (OK, so if you live in the UK maybe the sunshine part is wishful thinking). If you haven't tried any Soap and Glory scrubs before, the Sugar Crush Body Scrub is definitely one that's worth investing in..
What's your favourite exfoliator?

My Skin Cleansing Routine (PM)

Hello Lovelies,
Today's post is going to be all about how I cleanse my skin every evening. I did a post a while back on my skincare routine. If you'd like to check out that post please click here.
A few of the products that I use have changed lately so I thought I'd do am updated post for you explaining how I cleanse my skin.
Just to give you a little background on my skin type. I am 32 years old, but lucky for me my skin is pretty much wrinkle free and I only get a few occasional breakouts which mainly appear during that time of the month. I'd say my skin type is normal to combination and I sometimes get oily in my T-Zone during the day. I think my main concerns are that my skin can look dull and also that I have a somewhat uneven skin tone.
What I am loving about my current skin cleansing routine is that it removes all traces of make up (and I do wear a lot of make up on a daily basis) without being harsh on my skin. I have found that my skin has been in a much better condition since I have been using this skin cleansing routine.
Here are all the products I use to cleanse my skin:
Superdrug Cotton Wool Oval  Pads
Bioderma Sensibio H2O (review)
Superdrug Naturally Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser (review) or
Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser (review)
Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash (Normal  and Combination Skin)
Helena Rubinstein All Mascaras Complete Eye Make Up Remover
Superdrug 100% Pure Cotton Wool Round Pads
Bioderma Sensibio H2O
The first thing I do in the evenings before my shower is grab a Superdrug oval cotton wool pad with a small amount of Bioderma on it and wipe across my eyes and face to remove most of my make up. My mum got me my Bioderma from Dubai, but it is finally available in the UK. You can buy it online from John Bell Croyden (link) and it's pretty affordable as well which is great news!.

The next thing I do is use one of my Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleansers to cleanse my face. (I have both the Vitamin E and the Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser, so I'll use either one of these depending on my mood). What I do is massage the hot cloth cleansing cream over my face and eyes. I then run the muslin cloth that comes with the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleansers under hand hot water and use it to gently wipe the hot cloth cleansing cream off my face. Using a muslin cloth is great because it gently exfoliates your skin, which is why I don't use a separate exfoliator.
Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash
Once I've done this I'll wash my face using the Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash. This is the best drugstore facial wash I've tried in a while. A lot of drugstore face washes seem to have quite a watery consistency. The Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Wash however is quite a thick gel and it reminds me a lot of the Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser which I was using before.

Once I've dried my face I will take a tiny amount of eye make up remover to get rid of any last  traces of make up I've got left on my eyes, which is usually a stubborn bit of mascara or eye liner. I'm currently using the Helena Rubinstein All Mascaras Complete Eye Make Up Remover for this step, however if you are looking for something more affordable I can really recommend the Garnier Simply Essentials 2-in-1 Make Up Remover.

And that's it for my skin cleansing routine. I know it must seem like a lot, but everything I do is really simple and quick, and all the products that I use other than the Helena Rubinstein All Mascaras Complete Eye Make Up Remover are very affordable. I do wear a lot of make up, and I think it's really important to cleanse your skin properly at the end of the day because other wise you can end up with clogged pores which can lead to breakouts.
I hope you've enjoyed reading this post.

Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless

Hey Everyone,
I hope you are all well and having a good weekend. Once again I've not managed to put up any posts all week as I've been quite busy with work. Boots also has 3 for 2 across their entire make up, skincare and and haircare range which has taken up a lot of my time and attention. Nonetheless I am off work for all of next week, so I'm hoping to use that time productively by writing and scheduling some posts for you.
Today's post is going to be on the Macademia Natural Oil Flawless 2-in-1 cleanser and Conditioner which I was sent by the PR team at Baobella.
For those of you that haven't heard of Baobella, they are an online beauty community.
Baobella is a place where beauty lovers from all around the world can get together and share photos of looks that they have created. It's also a friendly place to connect with other beauty and make up lovers, share tips and discuss your favourite beauty products.
Back in February I was lucky enough to get invited to test out the website before it was officially launched. As a thank you for helping them test out their website, the team at Baobella sent me a goody bag full of lovely beauty treats. I was especially excited to receive a bottle of Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless 2-in-1 Cleansing Conditioner from them.
I had heard quite a lot about the Macadamia Natural Oil brand but I had never tried out any of their products.
Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless
Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless is a paraben free 2-in-1 cleansing conditioner that is recommended for any hair type. Now I must admit I don't usually go for any 2-in-1 haircare products and always use a separate shampoo and conditioner on my hair, so I was a little bit dubious about trying this product. I did however, still decide to give it a go and I am really glad that I did!
Just to give you a little bit of background on my hair, it's quite dry and damaged. I use heat on my hair almost every day which I know I shouldn't, but my hair is naturally frizzy and curly which I hate so I need to use a lot of heat on it to stop it looking like I've rammed my fingers into an electric socket (which you obviously shouldn't do, even if that's the look you're going for).

Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless
Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless has a consistency that's very similar to shaving gel. Unlike shampoo, this product does not later up when you apply it to your hair.
Macadamia Natural Oil recommend using one or two pumps of this product on wet hair, applying it to your scalp and gently massaging the product all the way through to the ends of your hair, then leaving it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing your hair. You do not need to use a separate shampoo or conditioner with this product.
I am very impressed with the Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless 2 in 1 cleanser and conditioner. Every time I use it, it leaves my hair feeling soft and squeaky clean. Another thing which I really like about this product is that it reduces the amount of time it takes me to blow dry my hair. This is brilliant because the less heat I use on my hair, the less damage I am causing to it!
The Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless has a very pleasant and unique scent. It does not smell like your traditional shampoo or conditioner. I would say that this product has more of a gentle plant like scent, which must be the Macadamia and Argan Oil in the product.
Macadamia Natural Oil claim that using their Flawless product will refine the texture of your hair which I definitely agree with. The first thing I noticed after using this product is how shiny and soft my hair was afterwards!
The Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless gets 2 big thumbs up from me, and I am very keen to try out more products from the range! I don't know how this product would fare if you have an oily or greasy hair type, but if your hair is dry and heat damaged like mine, I really recommend giving this product a go!
I would like to say a big thank you to Baobella for sending me this product and letting me test out their website before it was launched. If you'd like to check out my profile on Baobella, you can do so by clicking here. If you already have a profile with Baobella, leave me your link in the comments below so I can have a look and follow you on there!
Thank you for reading and until next time,

Blog Outtakes!

Hello Lovelies,
I have been doing a lot of product reviews lately so I today thought I'd mix it up a little and bring you some of my blog outtakes.
I've noticed from Twitter and Instagram that most of us beauty bloggers are animal lovers and a lot of us have pets.
My pet's called Billie and she's an 11-month old aspiring Beauty Blogger.
Billie was born in Colliers Wood, South London and came to live with me when she was 8 weeks old.
The first time I noticed Billie's passion for blogging is when I did my What's in my Handbag post many moons ago.
When Billie was younger, she loved all sorts of bags. For example, here you can see her being part of my Boots Haul. (In case you are reading this and are wondering what Boots is, they are a UK drugstore. They do not sell any pet supplies. Or cats).
Like most cats, Billie loves shoe boxes and she got very excited when I bought home some shoes from Aldo's I'd picked up in the Christmas sales. I don't really know what she was expecting to find in the shoe box. A mouse? A bird? Or maybe she thought was playing a game of hide and seek.
In January I did a review for you all on the St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Lotion. Billie was desperate to be part of that post. Which I may have considered if she was a ginger cat. (Ginger, orange, fake tan, do you get where I'm going with this ..)
Sadly for Billie I do not consider her grey coat to be a very nice background for my blog pictures. Billie however strongly disagrees with me on that point...
Billie also loves a bit of skincare.
There was me, trying to take some nice pictures of my Superdrug Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser for you. Then Billie decided to come along and stick her face in my picture.
I wouldn't personally stick my ugly mug into a photo when someone else is clearly trying to photograph something. But then again, I'm not a cat.
I've also reviewed the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser on my blog. Who do you think was on the windowsill first, my Hot Cloth Cleanser, or the cat? Answers on a post card please.
One of my next posts is going to be a review on the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub which I got as part of my Soap and Glory Best of All set. The review will go up once I have photoshopped the cat out of my pictures...
Well those are just some of my blog outtake pictures and I hope you've enjoyed them!
Do you have any pets? What do they get up to when you're taking your blog pictures?
If you liked this post and have some blog outtakes featuring your pet, I'd love to see them so feel free to do a post like this too and let me know if you do!
Till next time,

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hello Everyone!
Today's post is going to be on the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. I bought this product on the recommendation of Georgina from Makeup-Pixi3 and I absolutely love it!
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser
I usually tend to go for high end skincare brands. I was using the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser religiously before I discovered Superdrugs Hot Cloth Cleansers, and I can honestly say that I think Superdrug's offerings are just as good as the Liz Earle one!
Superdrug have 2 different types of hot cloth cleansers. There's this one as well as their Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. I've done a review on the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser too which you can read by clicking here.
The Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser comes with a muslin cloth and is available  for only £2.99 for 150ml.
How to use this product?
The Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser is really simple to use. You rub a dollop of this over your face and neck. It's gentle enough to rub over your eyes and  removes even heavy eye make up beautifully.
After applying the cream, simply run the muslin cloth provided under hand hot water and wring it out. Once you have done this you then use the cloth to gently wipe the product off your face.
Superdrug advise to massage this product into your face when it's wet, but I apply this before rinsing my face and I find it works just as well that way.
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser
Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser contains kiwi fruit mulberry fruit extracts which are know for their skin brightening properties, as well as cocoa butter which is very moisturising.
This product is thick and creamy and has a really lovely gentle fruity scent.
I love using my Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser because it cleanses and gently exfoliates my skin without drying it out. And for the bargain price of £2.99, I can really recommend giving it a go!
I was sceptical at first and it was only after watching Georgina's Cleanser Collection on YouTube that I decided to give drugstore hot cloth cleansers a chance, and I really don't regret it! Click here for Georgina's Cleanser Collection.
So once again I'd like to say a massive thanks to the lovely Georgina for bringing this product to my attention. Discovering this product as well as the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser is certainly saving my a lot of money and it's not often that I find drugstore skincare products that are just as good as their high end counterparts!
What products do you use to cleanse your face?

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter Review

Hello Lovelies,
About 2 weeks ago I blogged about my least favourite Soap and Glory products. As Soap and Glory is a brand I usually love, I thought it's only fair of me to also share with you some of my most loved Soap and Glory products.
The Soap and Glory Righteous Butter is probably one of the best Soap and Glory products I have ever used. It's a product I have repurchased time and time again.
Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
Here's what Soap and Glory have to say about The Righteous Butter:
"Award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. Smooth on a handful after your shower and you might swear you're wearing velvet. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance."
The Soap and Glory Righteous Butter won the Woman & Home Best in Beauty 2012 award. It's also been featured on the TV show How to Look Good Naked back in 2008 (there's a sticker on most Soap and Glory Righteous Butters reminding you of the latter point in case you ever forget).
Not surprisingly, the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter is Soap and Glory's number 1 best selling product. It comes in the usual pretty 50s style retro packaging which Soap and Glory use throughout their entire range.
Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
The Soap and Glory Righteous Butter has the signature Soap and Glory Rose and Bergamot scent which I love. The scent lingers on your skin for a few hours after applying it and is quite strong. I don't mind this though as it smells lovely!
I use the the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter once a week as an intense moisturising treatment, usually the night before I fake tan.
The consistency of this product is very rich and creamy, but it absorbs quickly into your skin and is not greasy at all. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and moisturised.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
I usually get my Soap and Glory Righteous Butter from Boots. They retail at £10.50 for 300ml, but Boots quite often do 3 for 2 offers on the Soap and Glory Range and that's usually when I stock up on these.
One of these pots also lasts me ages. 300ml of product is quite a generous amount for a body butter, especially considering that the  Soap and Glory Righteous Butter is so rich and creamy that you only need to use a small amount of it to moisturise your entire body.
I will carry on repurchasing this until I find a better product for the same value.
Have you tried this? What's your favourite body butter?
I hope you've enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!

Make Up Storage

Hey Lovelies,
Hope you are all well!
Today's post is going to be on some acrylic make up storage I picked up at Wilkos a few weeks ago.
Like many beauty bloggers, I have an ever expanding make up collection, and when I saw this little acrylic make up storage box on Robyn from Robyn MM's blog, I knew I needed it in my life!
Acrylic Make Up Storage
Here are the measurements of this little box:
Height: 15cm/6inches
Width: 13cm/5 inches
Length: 13cm/5 inches
Each drawer is 4cm/1.5inches high
Make Up storage
It's amazing how much make up you can fit into these 3 little drawers!
The design of this little acrylic storage box is really cute as well and I think it would look lovely on any vanity or dressing table.
I'm keeping all the make up which I use on a daily basis as well as all the products I'm trying to use up in this little box. That way, I spend less time in the mornings when I'm getting ready for work trawling through all my make up trying to find stuff!
The only negative I have found about any kind of clear acrylic make up storage is that it gets dirty really easily and can be a bit of a pain to clean, especially if you get make up on it.
I've done another post on some make up storage which is made out of pink material that does not stain and will also hold your pallets and foundation bottles. Click here if you'd like to read that post.
Unfortunately the Wilkos acrylic storage box isn't stackable, but you could always buy more than one of these boxes and line them up next to each other if you have a larger make up collection that you are trying to organise.
This little acrylic storage box is available from Wilkos for only £10.00 so definitely a bargain that's worth picking up if like me, you are trying to organise your make up a little bit better!
How do you store your make up? I'd love it if you let me know in the comments below as I'm always on the lookout for cute little stroage ideas!

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream

Hey Everyone,
Hope you're all well and enjoying the weekend!
Today's post is going to be a review about a product I can't recommend enough, and it's the truly amazing Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream.
This is the second jar of this product that I'm on. I bought a pot of these last year and it lasted me about 9 months. After I'd used it up I tried various other eye creams but none of them were as good as the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream which is why I decided to go back to it, in spite of the £29.00 price tag.
Here's what Bobbi Brown have to say about one of their best selling products:
"This quick-absorbing eye cream delivers naturally-occurring humectants that melt into the skin, leaving the eye area soft, smooth and refreshed for up to 24 hours. A perfect level of emollients imparts a lightweight texture, allowing concealer to glide on evenly."
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream
As you can see, Bobbi Brown aren't making any extraordinary claims about this product, promising you the moon and the stars if you use it. I am always a little bit sceptical when a product sounds too good to be true. Anything that promises to make you look like an airbrushed Kate Moss is probably just clever marketing at best.
The Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream however does exactly what it says: It hydrates your delicate eye area.
Make up applies much better onto hydrated skin. Imagine you were applying foundation onto dry skin. That wouldn't look as good as if you'd applied it to skin that was properly moisturised, correct? Well, the same principle goes for your eyes. Eyeshadows and concealers are far more likely to sit in the fine lines around your eyes if that area is dry and has not been looked after properly.
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream
Now lets talk about why I love the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream so much:
When I was using this product, the dark circles on my eyes were still there, but they weren't as bad as they'd been before. When I stopped using Bobbi Brown's eye cream, my dark circles got worse again, even though I was getting the exact same amount of sleep as before, and that's the main reason why I repurchased this product.
I also love the smell and consistency of the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream. I've tried various other eye creams, and they are either too thick or the smell of them is far too strong. I really don't want to be putting anything that has any kind of noticeable scent around my eye as that can irritate them an make my eyes appear red and puffy.
The Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream is really gentle on the eyes and melts beautifully into into your eye area. It provides 24 hour hydration, but I like using this both mornings before I apply my make up and evenings before I got to bed.
I think it's really important to look after your eye area as this can help in reducing the appearance of fine lines and the dreaded crows feet. And if you are younger, hopefully it will prevent you from developing them in the first place!
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream
The last thing I'd like to mention is the packaging of the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream. It comes in a really cute little plastic jar (even though it looks more like glass). I've kept the jar of my old eye cream and I'm using it to decant other products into it. This little jar is really pretty and I thought it would be a waste to throw it out, so I am using it to put other products into it that don't have as nice packaging as the  Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream.
I hope you've enjoyed reading this post. I'd love to know what your favourite eye cream is, so let me know in the comments below!
Till next time.

February Empties

Hello Lovelies,
I hope you are all well and having a nice weekend.
It's the beginning of March now (can you believe how fast this year is flying by??), so I thought I'd share with you all the products I used up during the month of February.

I have decided to do my monthlies slightly different though. I am not going to include products that were in any of my previous Empties posts anymore as I am getting a bit worried about these posts becoming too repetitive.
As you can see, I have once again used up quite a lot of stuff!
Let's start with haircare
TRESemme Thermal Recovery Intensive Repair and Rehydration Treatment
This is an intensive conditioner I was using once a week but I don't feel like it really did anything special for my hair. I would expect my hair to feel amazing after using a product like this but it felt no different than when I use a normal conditioner. I am glad I have used this up now.
Would Repurchase?
No
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Moisturising Conditioner
Another product I was rather disappointed with. I really like the shampoo in this range but I didn't think the conditioner was creamy or thick enough. It did however leave my hair feeling nicely conditioned but as this is slightly more expensive than your regular drugstore shampoos and conditioner I was sort of expecting a little bit more from it.
Would Repurchase?
No
Lush H'suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment
This is one of those treatments you apply to your hair when it's still dry, leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse and shampoo as usual.
I think this product works really well and my hair always felt softer and more manageable after using it. However I really don't like the smell of this!  This stuff stinks, simple as that. And it's not the kind of smell that goes away after you shampoo your hair. No, it lingers in your hair till the next time you wash it.
Would Repurchase?
No, but only because I really don't like the smell.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum
I've been using this for years. I apply it to my hair when it's soaking wet. This serum is really thick and it does a great job at smoothing out my dry, thick hair and making it less frizzy!

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Make Up Remover
This is a make up remover that consisted of a blue liquid and a clear liquid that you shake up before using. It does a really good job at removing eye make up whilst being gentle on the eyes. It's the best drugstore eye make remover I have tried and I always have a bottle of these on the go.

Cutex Strengthenig Nail Polish Remover
This is alright at removing nail polish but I prefer my Bourjois Magic Nail Polish remover (click here for review) which is a lot quicker and easier to use than the Cutex product.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash
This facial wash smells nice, didn't break me out and left my skin feeling soft. As it's quite gentle I wouldn't rely on this to remove my make up.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Daily Scrub
This is a bit like an exfoliating cream cleanser. As it's so creamy it's not too abrasive on the skin which I liked. It didn't break me out and my skin always felt soft after using it.

I've only got 2 make up empties to share with you this month, and they are both concealers
Maybelline Dream LUMI Touch Highlighting Concealer
This product didn't do a very good job at concealing my under eye circles but I used it as a highlighter instead which worked really well. However I was amazed at how fast I used this up. Even though the pen looks quite long, you do not get a lot of product with this. Over half of the pen is the dispenser so if you are thinking of getting this do bear that in mind. Something like the YSL Touche Eclat is more expensive but will also definitely last you a whole while longer!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer
I really like this concealer. It's thick and creamy and does a great job at covering under eye circles and blemishes. It's also very inexpensive so if you haven't already tried this I highly recommend checking it out!

Click here if you'd like to see which Soap and Glory products I don't rate.
These 2 products however are a completely different story!
Soap and Glory Body Milk
This is a brilliant moisturiser that absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves it feeling nice and soft. For a body milk the consistency of it is quite thick which I like. It's got a pleasant soft oatmeal scent.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
This is one of Soap and Glory's best selling products and it's easy to see why. It smells amazing, absorbs quickly into the skin and leaving it soft and moisturised.
