Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hello Lovelies,
I hope you're all well and that you've had a nice weekend. I can't believe it's Sunday already! Where has the weekend gone? It's freezing outside (even though we're nearly in March), so as I'm staying indoors this afternoon I thought I'd bring you another little post about a product I recently picked up from Superdrug which I'm loving!

I've used the famous Hot Cloth Cleanser by Liz Earle before which is a brilliant product so I didn't really consider trying Superdrug's version until I watched Georgina from Makeup-Pixi3's Cleanser Collection on YouTube. She mentions how good this stuff is in her video so I decided to pick up a bottle next time I was in Superdrug and boy am I glad I did!
The first thing I love about this product is the price.
You get 200ml of product plus a muslin cloth for only £4.99!
If you are buying the same sized product from Liz Earle, it will set you back £24.00 and you have to buy the muslin cloth separately as well.
I am really impressed with the quality of the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser. It's very thick and creamy but still gentle enough to rub over the eyes and face. It also smells amazing. You know the smell of holiday when you're at the beach? Think sun tan lotion and Pina Coladas. Well that's what the smell of this reminds me of!
How to use this?
This product is really easy to use. You simply apply some of this creamy cleanser all over your face and eyes.
You then run the muslin cloth under hand hot water, wring it out and remove the cleanser from your face with the cloth. This step will gently exfoliate your skin, remove any dead skin cells (gross!) and leave your skin nice and clean!
This Cleanser  is recommended for normal to dry skin types and contains Vitamin E as well as antioxidants. Both these ingredients will help protect your skin against environmental damage.

If you have oily skin perhaps you can give the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser a go which I will be reviewing soon too.
As with all Superdrug own label products, their Hot Cloth Cleansers are BUAV approved.
This means that none of their own label products or any of the ingredients in their own label products have been tested on animals. I take my hat off to Superdrug for doing this, and I really hope all other retailers as well as make up and beauty brands will follow suit.
Well as you can tell I am extremely impressed with this product. Thank you Georgina for mentioning it in your Cleanser Collection video!

What's your favourite cleanser? Let me know in the comments below and thank you for reading.

  4. I absolutely love your blog! Your photos are always super clear and the way you write is very informative but still light hearted and fun.

I very recently purchased the Boots hot cloth cleanser which is £9.95 for 200 ml (I also had a £5 No 7 voucher so got it half price!) I really love the Boots one but as I am always trying to find cheaper alternatives when shopping, I'll definitely be trying the Superdrug one next time. x
