September Empties

Hello Lovelies!

Can't believe how fast September has flown by, but it's October tomorrow so time for everyones monthly empties! As you can see I've used up quite a lot this month
A lot of the products are favourites of mine that I would repurchase. I've added HG (Holy Grail) in brackets next to those produts so you can see which ones I keep going back to again and again!

Garnier Summer Body (HG) (Deep Sun-Kissed)
I love this product! It's a body moisturiser you can use daily that builds up a gradual natural looking tan. It smells fresh with a hint of citrus. I use this almost every day and it does not dry out my skin (which some products with fake tan in them can do)
Would repurchase? Yes, I already have 2 more bottles of this! I always stock up on this when it's on special offer at Boots, Sainsbury's or Superdrug.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo (HG)
I use this to clean my make up brushes. You can read my post on how I do this by clicking here.
It's gentle enough to use on make up brushes but cleans them really well. Have been using this on my brushes for years and can really recommend it!
Would repurchase? Yes, already have.

Garnier Mineral Deoderant
This smells quite nice and it's one of those 48 hour deoderants. I don't really know if it lasts 48 hours as I shower daily. Usually love Garnier products but this didn't wow me. Prefer the Sure deoderant brand or roll ons.
Would repurchase? No.

Dove Deeply Nourishing Body Wash (HG)
I wrote about this in my What's in My Shower post. You can read my thoughts on it here.
Would repurchase? Yes, already have a new bottle in my shower.

Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel (HG)
Another product featured in my What's in My Shower post.
Would repurchase? Yes, already have.

Coconut Body Butter
I bought this when I was visiting my mate up north. It's from Bodycare (which we sadly don't have down in London!). I think it was about £0.99, so a complete bargain. The smell is nice and coconutty and reminds me of being on holiday. It absorbes into the skin nicely and is very moisturising. Bargain product!
Would repurchase? Yes.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (HG)
If you haven't already tried this you really need to! I love using this to cleanse my face. It removes all my make up and is gentle enough to use on the eyes. As it is used with a muslin cloth, it gently exfoliates your skin without being too abrasive. Also, this does not dry out my skin but leaves it feeling moisturised and clean. Brilliant product!
Would repurchase? Yes, I have already gone through several of these and would definitely repurchase!

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Make Up Remover (HG)
Another product I love. I use this to remove my eye make up. It's similar to the Clarins product as you have to shake it up first before applying it on a cotton pad to remove your make up. This is gentle yet effective and better than most high end make up removers I've tried, and available for a quarter of the price.
Would repurchase? Yes, already have. Also worth stocking up when it's on offer.

Clarins Instant Eye Make Up Remover
I got this as a free sample with a gift set. It's one of those make up removers that contains a blue liquid and a clear liquid which you have to shake up before using. Usually I think Clarins products are amazing, but I didn't really like this product. It wasn't great at removing all my make up and as it's Clarins I'm sure it's quite pricey.
Would repurchase? No

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
This is quite an expensive Foundation Primer, but you only need the tiniest amount so it lasts ages. This is the second one of these I've bought. It smooths out your skin, creating a perfect base to apply your foundation on. I still have to powder my face using this product as I get oily around my T-Zone in the day, but my foundation lasts all day when I use this. I've heard that Smashbox is going to be availabe at Boots soon, so those of us in the UK will be able to save money with our Advantage Cards!
Would repurchase? Yes

Kerastase Serum Nuit
I bought this from the hairdressers. It's an overnight hair treatment you don't have to wash out. You apply it on your dry hair before you go to bed and it nourishes your hair overnight. I had this for over a year but I've used it all up now and it definietly left my hair feeling softer in the mornings after I'd put this on.
Would repurchase? Yes

Lee Stafford Dehumidifier
This product is brilliant. It was in my August favourites and I love using it. It smells gorgeous and really helps keep my hair from frizzing up after I've straightened it. A must have product when the weather is rainy as it has been this month!
Would repurchase? Yes, already have.

John Frieda Frizz Ease (HG)
I use this every time I wash my hair. I apply it when my hair is soaking wet beore blow drying it. It's a really thick serum (some serums I've tried are very runny).  I've got very dry hair and this is great for smoothing out my hair and making it less frizzy!
Would repurchase? Yes, already have.

Well, those are my September empties! I hope you've enjoyed this post? Have you done an empties post on your blog? If so please link it in the comments below so I can have a look!

My all time favourite Benefit product!

Hello Lovelies,

My all time favourite Benefit product has got to be the Benefit 10 Bronzing and Face Powder duo.

Benefit 10 has been around for years, and it's one of the first Benefit products I ever purchased. This is actually the second one  of these I've owned, after completely using the first one up!

This is also the first ever product I used to contour and highlight, and years down the line, I am still going back to it!

The packaging is the same standard packaging you get with all Benefit boxed powders (such as Hoola or Coralista).

This product however contains 2 separate products: a bronzer and  a highlighter.
On the left side you've got the highlighter, which is a light pink shimmery colour. On the right side you've got the bronzer, which is a shimmery golden-bronze colour. Even though this product is shimmery, neither the highlighter or the bronzer contain any glitter.

Apparently the highlighter in Benefit 10 is the same product as Benefit Dandelion.

For contouring I always use a matt bronzer, but for some reason, even though the bronzer in Benefit 10 isn't matt, it still contours perfectly!
Benefit 10 also comes with a little brush. This is the only product I own where I use the brush it comes with! Usually brushes that come with products aren't great quality, but this brush is definitely an exception!

I always make sure I use one  half of the brush for the bronzer, and the other half of the brush for the highlighter.

This product makes contouring and highlighting so easy and foolproof. One sweep across your cheeks, obviously keeping the  bronzer on the bottom and the highlighter on top and you're good to go!

My one recommendation though is to use Benefit 10 on top of a matt blush. As it's a bronzer and highlighter, I do still think it's necessary to apply blush with this to get the best result. For me, it's a little too pale to use just on its own.

I always take this product away with me when I'm travelling , as the box is so little it fits into any make up bag. Also, it's basically 3 products in one little box: A bronzer, a highlighter and a brush!

What do you think? Have you tried Benefit 10? And please let me know what your favourite Benefit product is in the comments below. I havn't bought anything from there in ages and really fancy trying out some of the newer products they have been releasing lately!

Rimmel Traffic Stopping Eyeshadow Review

Hello Lovelies,

As part of my haul I bought the Rimmel Traffic Stopping eye shadow trio in Over the Limit.

I chose this shadow because the lovely Tanya Burr used it in her Miley Cyrus make up tutorial, and I loved the look she created with it!

First thing I'd like to say about this is that the packaging is extremely fiddly to open! It took me ages just to open the little pallet, but once you figure out how it opens it's fine.

It comes with a sponge tip applicator (I never use these though, always use brushes), and you get 3 colours in the pallet.
These shadows can be used wet or dry and on the back of the pallet there are instructions on how to apply the shadows.

You get 3 dome shaped, baked shadows.

The golden colour is the lid colour, the brown colour is for the crease and the outer corner and the lightest colour is the highlight colour.

Tanya Burr's look using this is slightly different to that though, so do check out her video to see how she uses this pallet!

I compared the colours in this eyeshadow trio to my MAC shadows and discovered they are  pretty good dupes for MAC eye shadows!

The MAC shadow is on my top finger, the Rimmel shadow is on the bottom one.
 MAC Shroom
 MAC Amber Lights
MAC Mulch
You can't really tell by these pictures, but the MAC Shadows are a lot more pigmented than the Rimmel ones.

I had to apply quite a lot of the Rimmel eye shadow in order to get the same colour pay off as with the MAC shadows.

Here I've swatched the Rimmel shadows again, this time quite lightly though. As you can see the colours are quite sheer.
The colours are really pretty, but I don't think the pigmentation of these shadows is as great as I'd hoped for. I will definitely be using a primer with this eye shadow trio!

However this little pallet is still pretty good value. I bought it for £4.99 from Superdrug, and I will definitely be using it to try to recreate Tanya Burr's gorgeous Miley Cyrus look!

What do you think? And have any of you tried any of the Rimmel Traffic Stopping shadows?

Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you found this review helpful!

Stupid MS, and a haul!

Hey Lovelies,

As you may know, I recently completed my Project 10 Pan. I had gone over 5 months without buying any make up, and was so excited to finally be able to go make up shopping again!

Then, Sod's Law I think it's called, I ended up having an MS attack. Meh.

For those of you who don't know anything about MS, it's an auto-immune disease. Usually people get diagnosed when they are in their 20s. I think Jack Osborne is the only high profile celeb I can think of who's got it too. I was 26 when I had my first MS attack.

MS is something you can't really tell someone has got just by looking at them, and not everyone with MS is in a wheelchair (which is probably the most common MS stereotype). In fact, only 20% of people with MS end up having to use a wheelchair.

Here's me and with my friends (I'm the one on the left) at my friends wedding.
That's me mid MS attack, and you can't really tell by looking at that picture that I was very poorly and suffering from a relapse.

MS affects everyone who has it differently. Some of you reading this might know someone with MS too, and chances are their MS is nothing like mine.

The type of MS I have is called relapsing remitting, which means I suffer from 'MS attacks'.

These MS attacks are pretty annoying to say the least. In the past I have suffered from blurred vision, double vision and numbness in my leg amongst other fun things.

When I have an MS attack, I get treated at the hospital with IV steroids. The steroids stop the attack getting worse and help speed up the recovery.

MS is one of those illnesses that can get progressively worse over time, but I try not to worry about that too much. I don't really see the point in upsetting myself over something that could happen in years down the line.

My most recent MS attack (and the one that ruined my post project 10 pan shopping trip) meant I couldn't walk properly. I felt like I had lead in my legs, and whenever I tried to walk anywhere my left leg would seize up. Basically I was walking like an old lady with a limp. And I couldn't go shopping. Double meh.

Well fret not, I went on line shopping instead, and this is what I ended up buying:
MUA Undressed Pallet
MUA Heaven and Earth Pallet
Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold
L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara
Rimmel Glam Eyes Traffic Stopping Shadow Over The Limit
Dior Amber Diamonds

All items are from Superdrug, except for the Dior Amber Diamonds which I got from Debenhams.

It was strange shopping online at Superdrug. I think it's more fun going into the store and swatching all the make up before deciding what to get, but I am really happy with what I got and I suppose on line shopping is better than no shopping at all!

It took about 3 days for Superdrug to send my parcel, and it even included a free sample of Lady Gaga's Fame Perfume, which I thought was quite nice of them to send!

I actually had the steroids at the hospital last week, and my walking has improved a lot. Cos of the MS attack I have lost some strength in my left leg, but I should be able to build that up again down the gym.

I have been told to carry on resting this week, but I am looking forward to being able to run around again, and maybe even going back to work, as there is only so much Jeremy Kyle you can watch...

Glossybox Review

Hey lovelies,

3 months ago I signed up with Glossybox for a 3 month subscription. This was the only treat I allowed myself during Project 10 Pan.

My initials thoughts on Glossybox were what's the point in paying over £10 a month to get a beauty box with sample sized products sent to me. Surely I could pick up freebies with magazines or at beauty counters.

But after thinking about it for ages, and reading various blog reviews and watching countless YouTube videos on it, I decided to sign up. Plus I really had my eye on the HD Brows kit they sometimes send out with their Glossyboxes. Sadly, I didn't get one of those but I am still glad I signed up and that I got to see what Glossybox is all about!

I got to try out products I would have never heard of before, some of which I liked more than others.

When I signed up to Glossybox, I got my first box pretty quick, within a week I think. Here's what was in it:

 Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frosting
This smells and tastes absolutely gorgeous! Not that keen on the colour though, but I am still using this product
Kryolan Satin Powder
This is a lovely pigment in a champagne colour. I have used it for highlighting my inner corner when I do my eyes, but as I already own quite a lot of pigments anyway this wasn't a stand out product for me
Paul Mitchell Texturising Sea Spray
This product was a bit of a disappointment for me. I like wearing my hair smooth and sleek, and as I've got medium length hair, I don't think it would look any good on me. But generally I do like Paul Mitchell products, so will probably end up giving this to a friend
Monu Calming Skin Specialist
This is a green tinted cream that helps reduce redness and inflammation. Wasn't thrilled by this product, but then again maybe it's not really for me as I wear enough foundation and concealer to cover up any redness I have
Collin Regenerating Collagen Gel
I broke out when I first used this but am willing to give it another go as I love using serums and gels, and anything else that promises to delay the signs of ageing!
Elizabeth Arden Skincare Samples
I liked this. It came in very handy when I went away for a weekend. The sample contained a cleanser, a serum and a moisturiser and was just enough a weekend away.

Here is my August Glossbox:
I was really disappointed with this box!
Eyeshadow pallet
This is the worst thing I have ever seen! The colour pay off is so poor, and I'm not keen on the colours either! I think this pallet is so bad I couldn't even give it to a friend!
Lipcote
is something I used years ago (in the 90s...). I remember not liking it then so I wouldn't want to try it again now. Will probably give this away as well
Glossybox Lipstick
This lippy is a nice colour, however I don't think it's very moisturising on the lips. Also, mine arrived broken so I was not too impressed!
 Valentino Perfume Sample
This smells nice, I keep it in my handbag. Made me remember when my cousin and me were little and used to trawl all the counters in department stores trying to get as many of these free samples as we could!
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Even though I was very disappointed with this Glossybox, the DHC Cleansing Oil is the best thing I received from Glossybox! It's the first time I've tried an oil cleanser, and it's amazing at removing dirt and make up, without even making your skin feel oily.
Think I would definitely buy the full size version of this!
 Pro White Original Nail Polish
Again I wasn't too pleased with this, mainly because I get Shellac done on my nails about every 3 weeks. I have no use for nail polishes, which I did tell Glossybox when I filled in their on line questionnaire about what products I'd be interested in trying.

This is my September Glossybox.
Lady Gaga Fame Fragrance
Been wanting to try this so happy to get a small sample of it
Rodial Snake Serum and 5 Minute Facial
Not tried this yet but not too keen on the idea of snake serum though. May give it to a friend to try instead...
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
Tried this on this morning, I would say it's ok but nothing special. Will end up using it though for the sake of it, and eye creams are always handy to have.
Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Serum
I am very excited to try this, and if I like it and it works I'll probably end up buying the full size version, if I don't like it at least I got the chance to sample it first.
Biosilk Silk Therapy
I am very happy to receive this. It's a leave in treatment that helps moisturise and restructure hair. I've got pretty dry hair, and am willing to give anything a go that will help improve it's condition!

And here is someone who thoroughly enjoyed receiving my Glossybox every month!
Well, my final thoughts on Glossybox are that it's a fun way to send yourself a surprise present every month, but do not expect to enjoy everything in your box.

Some of the products are certainly better than others and not everything you get is tailored to your needs. (Even though Glossybox ask you to fill out a questionnaire when you sign up!)

The sample sizes are really handy for those of you who travel a lot or go on weekends away!

I really wish Glossybox did a swap service, allowing subscribers to swap products before they receive their boxes. Maybe that would be a way to make sure everyone is happy with the entire content of their box?
So I need a bit of advice from you guys now. What are you all doing with your empty boxes? I've got 3 empty Glossyboxes and need some good ideas please!

Even though I don't think I am going to sign up to Glossybox again for a while at least, but I have definitely caught the beauty box buzz.

Really want to try out Joliebox (especially after finding out they are our equivalent to the US Birchbox) and She Said Beauty next. Have any of you tried either of them? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below so I can decide which one to sign up to first!

What's in my Shower

Hello Lovelies,

A few weeks back I got tagged by Laura from A Day in the Life of a Scottish Lass to do the What's in your Shower post. You can see Laura's post  by clicking here.

Here is how I store the items in my shower. I've actually taken my shower caddy out of the shower and hung it on a door to show you as the lighting in the shower wasn't very good.

I bought this shower caddy from John Lewis

When I first got it I was a bit worried the brass material it's made of would go rusty, but luckily that's not happened even though I've had it for months.

What I really like about this that it can store a lot of items. I also think it's better than the plastic shower trays or shower baskets you can stick in your shower with suction pads. I had a plastic shower basket before this, but it needed constant cleaning as limescale and water would build up in it. Not very nice, so this is a lot more practical as water cannot build up in it!

Here are the shampoo, conditioner and treatment I am currently using.

Shampoo: Pantene Repair and Protect Shampoo for Normal-Thick Hair
Conditioner: TRESemme Thermal Recovery Nourish and Renew Conditioner
Treatment: TRESemme Intense Repair and Rehydration Treatment Masque
(I only use the treatment once a week as recommended by my lovely hairdresser)

This is my body wash and body scrub
Dove Deeply Nourishing Moisturing Body Wash
Soap and Glory Flake Away Scrub

Both of these product I love and keep on re purchasing over and over again! The Soap and Glory scrub is amazing! I use it with a small damp towel and it get rids of any dry skin (and fake tan), leaving your skin soft. I love the smell of this too, it's sweet without being sickly or sticky!

The Dove Body Wash is great too, really moisturises your skin without being oily. This is really important if you use fake tan. Fake tan can sometimes dry your skin out, so I need to use a body wash that moisturises your skin without being oily. (Anything oily will make the fake tan look patchy - not a good look).

Here are all the face products I keep in my shower:
Garnier Pure 3 in 1 Wash Scrub and Mask
Neutrogena Spot Stress Control Daily Scrub
Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub
Clinque Wash Away Gel Cleanser
I don't know how I ended up with so many scrubs! Think I was suffering from breakouts and Boots must've had some kind of offer on for me to end up with 3 products that pretty much do the same thing!
I only use a scrub about 3 times a week and give my skin a break during the other days. Even when it says daily scrub I get worried that it may be too harsh on the skin so I prefer to not use them daily.
I love the Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser! It's gentle enough to use on the eyes and does a great job at removing all dirt and make up! Wouldn't recommend this for dry skin, but if you're skin is combination or oily it works great, I love it and it seems to have sorted out my spots! (Yes, at the ripe old age of 31 I still get spots!)

Here are the final random bits I keep in my shower
Gillette Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel
Gillette Venus Razor
A wide toothed comb
The Gillette Satin Care for dry skin is my favourite one from the whole range and the only shave gel I really use. I tend to stock up when it's half price. (Sainsbury's have it on offer at the moment for £1.62 - bargain!)

And no What's in Your Shower post would be complete without a rubber ducky, so here's mine!
I hope you've enjoyed this post. Thank you Laura for tagging me, and I'd like to tag the following people to do it too!

Clara from Countess du Blush
Ashleigh from AC Make Up Lover
Fisi from Oh Snap Baby
Efia from Effy Talks Life
 Rach from Rachgrn
 India from The Jewel Beauty
Sarah from  New Modern Damsel

FOTD - My friends wedding!

Hello Lovlies!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend! First let me start by saying a massive thank you to all my followers, I can't believe I have over 50 followers! It really means so much to me, so thank you to everyone who is taking the time to subscribe and read my blog!

Would really like to do a give away for you guys as a way of saying thank you. If any of you know how to go about this please leave a comment below as I'm not quite sure how giveaways work!

For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you may know that I was away at my friends wedding this weekend. I had a lovely time, the weather was great and the bride looked stunning!

Here's all the slap I took with me for the weekend (ok I appreciate it's a bit OTT, but I'm not very confident. I've got quite bad skin and caking all this on makes me feel less insecure about myself)
One thing I'd like to say is that the No 7 lashes are crap! Got them when I had a No 7 £5 voucher, and it was a complete waste of money. They were ruined as soon as I took them out of the packet. Really flimsy and useless. If you want decent lashes I suggest getting the Eyelure ones (which I usually get). They are about the same price and a million times better!

Anyway rant over this is what I managed to do with all that slap I took with me (and sadly I had to go without fake lashes!)

Foundation
MAC Studio Sculpt in NC30
Concealer
MAC Studio Finish in NC 30
Bourjois Health Mix Concealer in Medium (under eyes)
Contour
Chanel Bronze Universal
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark
Cheeks
MAC Dollymix Blush
Bronzer
NARS Laguna
Highlight
MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl and MAC Vanilla Pigment
Eyes
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Patina and MAC Mulch eyeshadows (Lid)
MAC Mystery Eyeshadow (Crease)
MAC Dazzlelight Eyeshadow (Highlight)
Bourjois Kohl Contour Eye Pencil (Waterline)
MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (Lashline)
MAC Pro Lash Mascara in Coal Black
Brows
MAC Mystery Eyeshadow and Barry M Clear Mascara
Lips
MAC In Anticipation Liner and Hot Gossip Lipstick
Powder
MAC Studio Careblend Pressed Powder (Medium)

I realise I use a lot of MAC. Most of the items I got as part of my make up course college. A lot of the other stuff I bought when the college offered us a 35% discount at MAC. This offer nearly bankrupted me! ;)

My dress is from Topshop. I featured it in my Collective Clothing Haul a few weeks back.

Here's the info on my tan and hair colour:
Fake Tan
Xen Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe
Hair Colour
John Frieda Precision Foam Colour in Medium Brown

The wedding was held in a beautiful barn in High Wycombe and here's a pic of thestunning bride and me!
We went to college together over 10 years ago and it really goes to show that the friends you make at college and uni stay with you for life! So for those of my followers who are starting uni or college this year, good luck and all the best, I hope you will have an amazing time!

Project 10 Pan

Hey everyone!

Project 10 Pan is the creation of the lovely Laura from Buy Now Blog Later. She came up with Project 10 Pan when she still had her YouTube channel. It's for those of us who own way too much make up. The idea behind Project 10 Pan is that you are banned from buying any make up products, until you've completely used up 10 products from your collection.
I started Project 10 Pan back in April, after realising that I have more make up than I will ever be able to use up. Initially I chose 10 items I wanted to finish. Amongst that was my Laguna Bronzer from NARS (which I had hit pan on), pictured below:
This product is however a bit like a bottomless pit. I use it every day, but I don't seem to be able to finish it! So I changed the project round slightly, with the aim of using up any 10 products from my collection (rather than pre determined products).

I didn't include mascaras or any MAC products as part of my 10 products. I go through mascara quite quick. When I use up 6 MAC products I swap them for a lipstick at MAC, so I decided not to include MAC products in this either.

So here's what I've used up:
Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in Golden Beige
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab
Laura Mercier Peach Mosaic Shimmer Bloc
Maybelline Lipstick in Natural Rosewood
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium
Revlon Lipbutter in Berry Smoothie
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Peach
L'Oreal Glam Shine Lipgloss in Sheer Cassis
L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss
Max Factor Master Touch Undereye Concealer
I haven't bought any make up since I started this project.

Sadly I don't think I saved any money during Project 10 Pan though. As I wasn't spending my cash on make up, I had more to spend on clothes and skincare...

Even though I didn't really save any money, I still found doing Project 10 Pan a pretty good experience for me. I can now walk through Boots, Superdrug or department stores without being overcome with this massive urge to buy more make up! It's a bit like rehab for make up addicts I guess!

Thank you Laura for coming up with this project!

Well I'm so excited I'm finally allowed to buy make up again, so I need your recommendations please! Haul post coming soon :)

Make Up Storage Idea!

Hello Lovelies,

A while back I was tweeting with Kim from What Kimmi Did Next about make up storage. She had put up her Mission to Organise post, which I really enjoyed reading! I'm slightly on the messy (ok, very messy) side as well, but I have got a storage tip I want to share with you all!

Kim if you're reading this you may remember us tweeting about it!

If you're trying to organise your make up, the best place to start is stationery suppliers. Make up is a similar size to stationery and stationery suppliers sell storage at pretty cheap prices. You can get some pretty girlie stuff as well, so it isn't all boring office things!

I got this little desk organiser from WH Smiths. It was on sale at the time and I'm pretty sure it cost no more than a fiver! Not bad considering it allows you to store all your make up in one neat and tidy area on your dressing table, vanity or bathroom!

As you can see, it holds plenty of make up! In the back I'm using one section for face brushes, one section for eye brushes and another section for pallets. Then in the middle bit I've got bronzers, blushers, highlighters, foundation, mascara and eyeliners. Then in the front I keep concealers, setting powder, lipstick, lip gloss and pigments.

This has practically all I need to put my face together in the mornings in one neat little area. Love the fact that it's a girlie pink colour as well!

Here's the desktop organiser empty. It's only little, but one desk organiser can hold so much make up!

So if you are trying to organise your make up collection, definitely have a look in your local stationery shop, it's a really cheap way to find some really good storage!

Hope you've enjoyed this post. After the bbloggers chat on Twitter on Sunday evening, I have really tired to improve my pictures for you guys, and made them a lot bigger, as suggested by Sophia from Tatooed Tea Lady. I hope you like them. Let me know what you think!

Liebster Award ♥

Hey everyone,

I was really excited to get nominated for a Liebster Award by Laura from A Day in the Life of. I had heard of the Liebster award, but never though I'd get nominated for one! Thank you so much Laura for nominating me!!

This award is for up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers. The word 'Liebster' means dearest, or favourite, in German. It's a really nice way to find new blogs, and to show your appreciation for their blogs and the hard work they put into them!

The rules are as follows:
  1. Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves
  2. They must also answer the 11 questions the tagger has set for them
  3. They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag
  4. They must then choose 11 bloggers to tag with less than 200 followers
  5. These lucky bloggers must be told
  6. There are no tag backs
So here are 11 random facts about me:

1.  I have MS. It's relapsing remitting at the moment. Which means I have 'MS Attacks', where random stuff happens to me (for example blurry vision or numbness down one side of my body) These attacks come and go but they are a royal pain in the backside. I'm on medication now to reduce the frequency of these attacks.
