December Empties

Hey Everyone!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you've managed to pick some nice things up in the sales!
Well it's the end of the month so it's Empties time and here are all the products I managed to use up in December!
I'm quite pleased with my Empties this month as there is quite a lot of stuff I have managed to use up.
 Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
I've really enjoyed using this concealer. It's moisturising and long wearing so great for concealing dark under eye circles.
Would Repurchase: Yes
Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation
I was really disappointed with this foundation. It smells amazing and the packaging is beautiful.
I especially like the fact that it comes with a pump.
But those are the only 2 things I liked about this foundation.
It wasn't long wearing even though it claims to be! And I always had to powder my face several times a day when wore Chanel Perfection Lumiere.
I wasn't that impressed with the coverage either as I prefer medium to full buildable coverage. I'd say Chanel Perfection Lumiere has light to medium buildable coverage.
I always ended up with a shiny T-zone when I used this I don't even have oily skin!
I ended up mixing The Chanel Perfection Lumiere with my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation just to use up the bottle and that worked quite well. So if you've got a foundation you really don't like and want to finish, try mixing it with another foundation you prefer.
 Would Repurchase: No!

I really enjoyed using this product. It doesn't smell as nice as Xen Tan, but it is really easy to apply and gives your skin a nice golden tan.
What I liked best about this product is how long wearing it is. I've been applying this tan once a week and the colour lasts all week! It didn't dry out my skin.
Another thing I love about this tan is that you can get dressed within 5 minutes of applying. It absorbs into the skin really quickly so no standing around for ages waiting for your tan do dry! You can't really go out with this on though, I think it's better to apply the Lauren's Way Bronzing Lotion in the evening, let it develop over night and rinse it off in the morning.
  Would Repurchase: Yes
I don't think the limited edition Cleanse and Polish is available anymore so I won't go on about it too much. This product smells strongly of lavender and it did a great job at cleansing and exfoliating my face whilst removing all my make up. just like the original version.
I actually prefer the smell of the original Cleanse and Polish.
Would Repurchase: I will repurchase the Original Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Here are my everyday shower products I used up in December. I actually got quite a lot of shower gels and body lotions for Christmas (haul post coming soon!), so I'm glad I used up a fair bit this month and can start trying all the products I got from Santa!
Original Source Shea Butter and Honey Shower Gel (250ml)
This has a really pleasant honey smell. It isn't too sweet or sticky at all (which you might expect from a honey based product) and left my skin clean and moisturised without stripping off my fake tan!
Would Repurchase? Yes, once I've used up all the shower gels I got for Christmas!
L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore Repairing Shampoo (400ml)
Well this shampoo is the one Cheryl Cole apparently uses, and I'd buy anything she advertises. I don't really know how much it improved the condition of my hair but it smells nice and leaves my hair manageable and clean.
Would Repurchase? Yes
Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel for Dry Skin (200ml)
This product is always in my empties. Since I've started blogging and posting my monthly empties I've noticed that I go through one of these a month! Needless to say I like this shave gel a lot!
Would Repurchase? Yes, already have
Garnier Body Repair Anti-Dryness Restoring Moisturiser(400ml)
This smells great, absorbs into the skin very quickly and is very moisturising.
 Would Repurchase? Yes
TRESemme Nourish and Renew Conditioner  (900ml)
This bottle of conditioner is massive! I think I bought it because it was on offer at Superdrug, but I've decided that buying such a big size is a bad idea.It wasn't really practical to keep in my shower. I also found it quite difficult squeezing the conditioner out of the bottle.
  Would Repurchase? No
MUM Sensitive Care Deo Roll On (50ml)
I didn't purchase this but it was a freebie I picked up in the office.
This deodorant comes in a glass bottle which I don't really find very practical. It worked fine but I wasn't overwhelmed by anything about it. It's also unperfumed and I prefer perfumed deodorants.
   Would Repurchase? No
I'm quite gutted I used the next to products up as they are so expensive to replace!
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Intense Night Cream (50ml)
I bought this at the CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) store at Cheshire Oaks. If you live in the UK and not been to Cheshire Oaks, you have to go, it's amazing and a great place to pick up bargains! I love it there and always go when I'm visiting my friend who lives up north.
I found this cream very moisturising. It lasted me about 6 months so even though it's a bit more expensive, I think it is worth while investing in a day and night cream to keep your skin in the best condition and keep the wrinkles and fine lines at bay.
Would Repurchase? Yes
Estee Lauder DayWear (50ml)
This cream contains SPF 15. Again it lasted me about 6 months. I used this every moring after cleansing my face and before applying my make up. The Estee Lauder DayWear moisturiser smells fresh and feels very light on the skin. It absorbs quickly and gave me a great base for applying make up.
 Would Repurchase? Yes
Well that's it for my December Empties, thank you for reading! As you can see I've used up quite a lot this month. What products have you used up this month?
And if I don't speak to you before, happy new year, I hope 2013 will be a lucky one for everyone!

Best / Worst Drugstore Products of 2012

Hey Everyone!
I hope you are all well and that you had a lovely Christmas!
A while back the lovely Luchessa from Beauty Expression by Luchessa tagged me to do the
I ♥ Drugstore Makeup post. You can check out her post by clicking here.
Thank you very much Luchessa for tagging me to do this post.
As we're nearly at the end of 2012, I've decided to put a seasonal spin on the Tag and share with you my Favourite and Least Favourite Drugstore Products of 2012. I've changed the questions around a bit to reflect this. I hope you don't mind Luchessa!
1. What was your favorite drugstore makeup brand of 2012?
There's quite a few drugstore brands I've loved this year so I can't really narrow it down to one. L'oreal, Revlon, Bourjois and Rimmel were some of my favourites.
I especially love the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains that were released this year.
L'Oreal bought out the False Lash Telescopic Mascara early on in 2012 which was advertised by the gorgeous Cheryl Cole. To be fair I'd pretty much buy anything that is promoted by Cheryl and this mascara did not disappoint.
Rimmel have also released a fantastic collection of waterproof eye liners that rival MAC in terms of quality. So far I only own one in the colour Nude but I am sure to be picking up some more of these in the new year.
2. What are your least favourite products of 2012?
Products I bought this year that I was disappointed with are the Maybelline Colour Tattos and the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye pen.
I know that the Colour Tattoos are really popular, but I just didn't find them to be as good as MAC Paint Pots. When I use the Colour Tattoos as an eye shadow base, my eye shadow doesn't last all day and ends up looking a little bit muddy. The MAC paint pots are creamier and a the pigmentation of them is a lot better too.
I usually love Revlon products, but the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye pen is rubbish and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The pigmentation is so poor! I've done a whole separate post on this product which you can read by clicking here.
 3. What is the best makeup bargain of 2012?
The best make up bargain of the year has to be MUA products! Prices start from £1. The eye shadows are creamy and highly pigmented. MUA are always bringing out new products and colours, so this is definitely a brand worth looking out for in 2013!
4. Show your best drugstore dupe for 2012.
My favourite drugstore dupe for 2012 has to be the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains. I actually prefer them to the Clinique Chubby Sticks. I've done a full post comparing both products which you can read by clicking here
 5. Which drugstore product did you buy in 2012 that wasn't worth the hype?
The Revlon Lip Butters. I think they were released in the UK early in 2012 and I bought quite a few of them. Maybe I was just expecting too much from them, but to me they are just a tinted lip balm and quite overpriced at that. The packaging is quite deceiving as it looks like you get loads of product. The packaging is in fact twice as long as the product it contains inside!
6. What product wins your award for Best Drugstore Product of 2012?
This for me without a shadow of a doubt has to be Real Techniques brushes. I was so excited when they were finally made available at Boots this year. The Expert Face Brush is possibly the best foundation brush I have ever used! I don't really use anything else for concealer or foundation any more other than my Real Techniques brushes and some of my MAC brushes don't even get a look in any more!
Well that's it for my Best / Worst Drugstore Products of 2012!
And I'd like to tag the following lovely bloggers as well as anyone reading this post to do the tag too.
Sophia from TattooedTeaLady
Fisi from OhSnapBaby
Shona from FreshBeautyXOX
Hannah from BeginnersBeauty
Ashleigh from BeautyWaterfall
Emma from Glossy Boutique
Andii from AndiiJames

Gemma Davies

Happy New Year everyone!
Nuala xxx

This is what I got in my December Joliebox:
I love Cosmetics Shimmer and Shine Lip Gloss (11ml)
This is a lovely lip gloss. It's not too sticky and smells and tastes amazing. The colour of this lip gloss is quite sheer and would suit everyone, especially as it can be worn on top of lipstick as well.
Bellapierre Shimmer Powder (2.35g)
This is an eye shadow pigment that adds a lovely sparkle to the eyes. The colours in my Giveaway are a white pigment (perfect for highlighting) and a black pigment (great for creating smokey eyes.
Dr Duve Hand and Decollete Cream
These are 2 sachet samples of a lifting and firming hand cream for mature skin. Maybe one for mums or grand mums!
Agua De Colonia Concentrada
This is a sample of a unisex perfume. It's the oldest Spanish perfume and has quite a lemony scent.
Olay Regenerist Skin Cream (7ml)
This is a hydrating night serum with anti ageing benefits. My mum has her eye on it after she spotted it in my box!
YON-KA Pamplemousse Moisturiser (50ml)
This smells amazing and good enough to eat. It's a moisturiser for normal to dry skin. You can use this as a primer for make up as well. I've tried it today and it absorbs into the skin really quickly leaving it feeling soft and moisturised. I like the texture of this product as it is more of a mousse than a cream.
Colour Club Nail Polish (7ml)
I'm quite happy with this product as you can never have enough nail polish. The shades are exclusively designed for Joliebox. One winner will be receiving the nail polish in the colour 'Put A Pin In It' which is a shimmery slivery-purple colour. The other shade is called 'Insta-This and is a bright blue polish.
2 Lindt Chocolate Bars
Well I love chocolate so this is a very nice non-beauty treat to get in my box!
The Jolieboxes that 2 lucky people will be winning contain the same products as my Joliebox but the colour of the nail varnish and eye shadow pigment are slightly different.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Pallet Review

Hey Lovelies,

Hope you are well and that you've got all your Christmas shopping sorted! Can you believe it's only one week to go till Christmas!
Well other than buying presents for other people I have also decided to treat myself this month!
Urban Decay have bought out yet another Naked pallet. I own both the original Naked pallet and Naked 2 pallet already, and after seeing Leesha from Xparkage's make up tutorial on YouTube using the Urban Decay Basics pallet, I decided I need this in my collection!

If you're in the UK, you can buy this pallet online at Debenham's for £20. Click here for the link!

The first thing I noticed when I got the pallet is how tiny it is. Here is my baby Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet next to my Naked 2 pallet and my MUA Undressed pallet.
Tiny, isn't it?
In the Urban Decay Basics pallet you get 6 full size eye shadows (1.3g each) The finishes are either matt or satin, so no shimmery shades.
Venus is similar to Virgin in the original Naked pallet and Bootycall in the Naked 2 pallet.
Foxy is also in the Naked 2 pallet.
Walk of Shame (WOS) is similar to Foxy but pink rather than yellow toned.
Naked 2 is  a cross between Naked in the Original Naked pallet and Tease in the Naked 2 pallet.
Faint is a slightly darker shade to Buck in the Original Naked pallet.
Crave is a matt black shade which is very similar to Blackout in the Naked 2 pallet.
Here are the colours swatched on my arm:
The pigmentation isn't bad but not quite as brilliant as I would expect from Urban Decay. So I decided to swatch the shades again, this time using an eye primer. In keeping with the Urban Decay theme, I used my Urban Decay Primer Potion.
The colours are a lot more vibrant and intense when using the Urban Decay Primer Potion. So if you are thinking of getting this, I would recommend investing in an eye primer as well. You can especially notice the difference in Faint, Crave and Naked 2.
My overall thoughts on the pallet?
So I think the Urban Decay Basics pallet is a great little pallet for creating neutral eye looks suitable for places like the office. The shades are quite similar to some of the shades already released in the other 2 Naked pallets and the pigmentation isn't as good as you get with MAC eye shadows. But for £20 this pallet works out at £3.33 per eyeshadow which isn't bad at all!
If you own lots of shimmery eyeshadow and are looking for some matt shades then I would really recommend checking this pallet out! It's also a very handy travel size that would fit into any make up bag, no matter how small!
But out of the 3 Naked pallets, this one is sadly my least favourite.
I will be using my Urban Decay Basics pallet alongside some shimmery eye shadows.
Do you own any of the Urban Decay Naked pallets? Which one is your favourite?

Soap and Glory Best of All

Hello Lovelies,
I hope you are all well and having a nice weekend.
As I am sure many of you are aware, the Soap and Glory Best of All gift set is currently available at Boots for £27. Usually it's priced at £60, so that's a massive saving! You get 9 full size Soap and Glory products in the gift set, so it works out at £3.00 per product.

This was only made available on line yesterday (14.12.2012), and they have already sold out online. So if you are interested in buying one of these, get yourself down to Boots as soon as possible!
I think this is a great idea for a Christmas present. It can be one big present, or you could split the products up to make several individual present out of it.
I actually bought this as a Christmas present for yours truly (me!).
I love Soap and Glory products and always buy them when they are on 3 for 2 at Boots.
Here's a breakdown of all the products you get:
Smoothie Star Body Milk (500ml)
Clean On Me Shower Gel (500)
Peaches & Clean 5-in-1 Wash of Cleansing Milk
I haven't tried any of these products yet but they smell absolutely amazing!
However I am not so sure abiut the Cleansing Milk as I don't know how it will compate to my beloved Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Hand Food Hand Cream (125ml)
This smells great and it very moisturising without being sticky and absorbs really quickly into the skin. Perhaps it's a little too big to carry around in my handbag so maybe I will keep it at my desk in the office instead!
Heel Genius Foot Cream (500ml)
I haven't tried this yet but I am sure it will come in handy in the summer when moisturised feet are a must!
The Righteous Butter Body Butter (300ml)
This is one of my all time favourite Soap and Glory products. I use it once a week as an intense moisturiser and to preparte my skin for fake tanning. The day after I use this is the day I apply my fake tan and it really moisturises my skin, making my fake tan application very easy and streak-free
Sugar Crush Body Scrub
I usually use the Flake Away Scrub from Soap and Glory but I really like the smell of this one too! Sugar Crush has a really nice citrus smell and I am excited to see how it compares to the Flake Away body scrub.
I was really happy to see that the set contained 2 Soap and Glory make up products. I had never tried any Soap and Glory make up before but have heard lots of great things about them.
Thick and Fast Mascara
This mascara reminds me a lot of the Benefit Bad Gal mascara. I've used theThick and Fast  today and I like the way it makes my lashes look thicker and fuller. It's not clumpy at all which is also great. However I would perfer it if the colour was a bit more intense. It's just not quite as black as I like my mascara to be.
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss in Punch Bowl
This is the only product I am really disappointed with. Sexy Mother Pucker has a very artificial chocolatey smell. It is also feels unbelievably sticky on the lips. The pigmentation of this is very poor even though the colour looks really nice in the tube. I will be giving this to my mum when I see her in the hope that she might like it (she always gets my make up cast offs).

I'm really happy with this, and other than the lipgloss I know I will be using all the products that were included in this gift set.
The Soap and Glory Best Of All gift set also includes a little book full off money off vouchers that you can use up until March in Boots to get money off as well as extra Advantage Card points on Soap and Glory products.
If you have however missed out on this, keep a look out for it again around this time next year as Boots and Soap and Glory release a gift set like this every year in time for Christmas!
Have you managed to get one of these or is it on your Christmas list? What's your favourite Soap and Glory product?

My Concealer Collection

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you are all well and slowly getting all your Christmas shopping done! I attempted to do some online this evening but ended up buying 3 things for myself and nothing for anyone else, so I've given up and decided to do a  blog post for you all instead before
This post is all about my concealer collection. Like most Beauty Bloggers, I own quite a few concealers. Some I reach for more than others and here's my little collection:
1. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer
This concealer is one of my favourites. It's thick, it's creamy and it blends into the skin perfectly covering blemishes as well as under eye circles. It's also a bargain for £4.19. The only downside to this concealer is that the colour range is pretty basic but if you can find a shade that matches you I can highly recommend this product!
2. Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
This product is more of a highlighter than a concealer, perhaps similar to the YSL Touche Eclat. It's a pen that you twist up to disperse the product and the applicator is a brush. I use this on top of concealer and it gives a nice radiant glow, but the coverage for me isn't good enough to conceal my dark circles.
3. MAC Studio Finish Concealer
I love this concealer! It covers blemishes, scars, redness, freckles, moles, spots and anything else you might want to cover really well. The product is quite thick but it blends into the skin effortlessly. If I could only keep one concealer from my collection this would probably be it, even though I don't really use it under my eyes as the product is a little bit to thick for the thin and delicate under eye area.
4. Benefit Boing Concealer
Benefit market this as an 'industrial strength' concealer. I used to really like this until I discovered the MAC Studio Finished concealer. Since then Benefit Boing has been sitting in my collection feeling very unloved...
5. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
I have read so many fantastic reviews about the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. As I don't really need any foundation at the moment I decided to pick this up instead. It's  a good product but not quite as good as the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer so I probably wont be repurchasing this once I've used it up.
6. Garnier Anti Dark Circles Roll on Concealer
This concealer is a roll on pen. The colour if this has peachy undertones which is great for concealing under eye circles. It also feels quite cooling when you roll it under your eyes. The coverage is quite good as well and I should probably reach for this more often than I do!
7. Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Clearing Concealer
I've used this concealer once or twice in about a year. It's very thick so you only need the tiniest amount. If you use too much of it, it looks cakey and it's not very easy to blend either. Definitely won't be buying this again!
8. Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
This product is great! It's thick and creamy and blends beautifully into the skin.
The only downside is that it's quite easy to squeeze too much product out of the tube. I'm almost out of this so I will probably re purchase one it's all gone.
9. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
I really wanted to love this but I don't. The packaging is just rubbish as one pump disperses far too much product. I also bought it in an NC, whereas for under eye circles it's definitely better to buy MAC Concealers in NW as the pink undertones in NW hide dark circles better. The coverage is good and it is long wearing, but I prefer my MAC Studio Finish Concealer  over this one!
What's your favourite concealer? And which ones don't you rate as much?

Revlon Colourstay Liquid Eye Pen Review

Hey Lovelies,
I hope you are all having a nice weekend!
A few months ago I was looking for a new liquid eyeliner as I had used up my L'Oreal Super Liner in Carbon Gloss. After spending ages dithering about in Boots and Superdrug, I decided to go for the Revlon Liquid Eye Pen. I bought it at Superdrug for £6.29.
Usually in both Boots and Superdrug they have samples available so you can swatch the products before you buy. This wasn't the case with the Revlon Liquid Eye Pen. All pens were sealed so I couldn't swatch it, but I still decided to get this one as Revlon is a brand I usually love. And boy did I end up regretting it!

This eyeliner looks like a felt tip pen, which is what I was looking for. However, the pigmentation of this product is extremely poor as you can see in the swatches below.
The pen feels quite dry and scratchy when you apply it. If the pen hadn't been properly sealed in the store I would have thought that I bought a product that had been left open for a while and dried out!
It is long wearing (maybe because it's so dry??), and that's just about the only good thing about it.
I would not recommend this product at all and certainly won't be repurchasing it.
What do you think? Have any of you tried the Revlon Liquid Eye Pen? What's your favourite eyeliner?

Beau Maquillagex's Secret Santa!

Hello Lovelies,

A while back the lovely Livi from Beau Maquillagex organised a BBloggers Secret Santa for everyone! You can read her post by clicking here.

Everyone who took part had a budget of £20 pounds. We were allocated partners to send our presents to by the lovely Livi. She really done a great job organising this for everyone. We were always kept updated and sent regular emails on the Secret Santa by Livi. So I'd like to say a massive thank you to Livi!

I took part in the Secret Santa and was thrilled when I got my present from Alessia! Alessia's blog is called Whispers From Angels and she's also recently started a YouTube channel which you can check out by clicking here.

Alessia is so lovely and we often have our little Twitter chats which are so much fun! This is what she sent me:

VIVO Eyeshadow Palette in Unprotected
This pallete is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked pallette and I'm really excited to try it out! All the shadows are really pretty and it's a brand I've never tried before.

 MAC Lipstick in Glamourdaze (Cremesheen)

Anyone who reads my blog knows I love MAC. This lipstick is limited edition and part of their Glamour Daze collection. I don't own any limited edition MAC lipsticks so wasreally happy to receive this! It's the perfect winter colour and it looks beautiful with gold eyeshadow for a Chritmas party look!
Billie the cat loved it too (don't worry Alessia, the lipstick is safe!).

So I'd like to say a massive thank you to Alessia as well, my presents were the perfect choice and I love them! I hope who I sent my pressent too likes hers as much as I liked what I got from Alessia.
It's been loads of fun taking part in this Secret Santa and I'll definitely taking part again next year!

If any of you took part in Beau Maquillagex's Secret Santa, please leave me your links at the bottom as I'd love to see what you all got!

November Empties

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you are all well and having a nice weekend!
Yesterday I put up my November Favourites. Today it's the turn of my November Empties so here are all the products I used up in November!
Let me start with these 4 products:

 Garnier Summer Body
Dove Deeply Nourishing Body Wash
Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel
Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Make Up Remover

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum
All these products are Holy Grail items for me that I keep on going back to time and time again. They all featured in my September Empties so click here if you'd like to read more about them.
Here's another favourite product I've used up this month
Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Polish
This smells amazing. It's quite runny(but not liquid) and removes dead skin and fake tan perfectly. What I like about this it isn't too abrasive on your skin but still really exfoliating!
Would repurchase? Yes, most certainly!
I talked about these next 2 products in my Skincare Routine post which you can read by clicking here.
This Works 5 in 1 Water
This product is quite expensive but it did last me a good 2 months. I used a couple of squirts of this every morning to cleanse and tone my face. I think it worked really well for that, but I wouldn't really use this as a make up remover. I tried it on my eyes and it really stung!
Would repurchase? Yes
Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser
I love this product! It's the 1st time I had ever tried a high end face wash. You can really tell the difference. The Clinique Gel Cleanser is a lot thicker in consistency than my Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash, so you need to use a lot less product with Clinique. I also found the Clinique product a lot more effective at cleansing my face and removing all traces of make up!
Would repurchase? Yes

Here are the 2 hair care products I used up this month

 Lee Stafford Heat Protection
This is a heat protector that can be used on wet or dry hair. It doesn't smell as nice as most other Lee Stafford products I've tried but it protects your hair from up to 250C degree heat which is great if you're using straighteners on your hair. I also felt that when I used this my hair felt more conditioned.

Would repurchase? Yes

VO5 Plump it Up Weightless Mousse
I used to think Mousse is a really 80s or 90s product until my hairdresser recommended it to me after I complained that my hair is always really flat at the routes. I really liked this product! It gave my hair a bit more volume (but not in an 80s poodle perm kind of way). It's not sticky and even protects your hair against heat!
Would repurchase? Yes
This is probably the most exciting product in this months empties!
Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze Universel
This lasted me a good 5 or 6 months, and that is with using it almost every day. As with all Chanel make up I've tried, it smells amazing and the packaging is beautiful. The best brush to apply this with is the Real Techniques Contour brush. However this product is a real nightmare to get out of brushes! I used this to contour my cheekbones, but I'd still apply a powder bronzer on top. Also, I don't think this colour is suitable for darker skin tones. When I was very fake tanned (about NC35 in MAC), it did not show up on my skin very well at all. Still a nice product that I wouldn't mind re purchasing, however this is by no means a Holy Grail product for me.
Would repurchase? Yes
Well that's it for my November Empties! Thank you for reading and I hope you've enjoyed the post!
I'm off to put these products out for the Recycling (except maybe the Chanel bronzer. The packaging is too pretty to throw away so I may try to wash it out and use it for storage or something). Do you recycle your empties and do you keep really pretty packaging? Let me know your thoughts!

November Favourites

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you've all had a good week! How fast has this year gone, I cant hardly believe it's almost Christmas again!
Well it being the end of the month it means it's time for everyone's monthly favourites and without further ado here are mine!

 Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I love this brush for applying my foundation! It's very thick and dense and buffs the product int your skin perfectly! If you don't already have this brush and are still thinking of what to ask Santa for for Christmas, I can really recommend this brush as an extra present / stocking filler. I don't think I'll be using any other brush to apply my foundation with...ever!
Real Techniques Blush Brush
I found this brush really rubbish for applying blush with. It's far to soft and fluffy! But I love using this to powder my face after applying foundation. It doesn't shed at all. I hate it when I powder my face and end up with a whole load of brush hairs scattered all over my face. This does not happen with this brush.
Superdrug Tea Tree and Peppermint Cleanser / Toner 200ml
I bought this when I was pretty skint and needed a new toner but didn't want to spend a fortune. This is available at Superdrug for only £2.99. I was pleasantly surprised by this
It's perfect if you're being lazy in the morning and want a quick and easy way to cleanse and tone your skin. The scent of this is quite strong which I think it's probably the tea tree in it. The best thing about this? I haven't broken out once while using this!
Glaence SOS Stick Protector Labial
This is a great product which I got in my November Joliebox. Click here if you'd like to read more about it!

 MAC Strobe Cream
 Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I think these two products are the perfect combination. I've worn these almost every day through out November. I've just started a new job and I need a foundation that's gonna stay put all day. The last thing I wanna be dealing with is my make up sliding off my face!
Estee Lauder Doube Wear is a full coverage matt foundation that lasts ALL DAY.  I don't even need to wear a primer with this! As the finish of the Doube Wear is very matt, I think adding a slightly luminous moisturiser like MAC Strobe Cream underneath gives you a prefect healthy glow
MAC Gingerly Blush
This has been my go-to blush in November and I don't think I've worn any other blush all month! It's a very natural matt blush perfect for the office when you want to look put together but not too done up. It's one of MAC's best selling blushes so next time your a the counter and looking for a natural yet highly pigmented blush I can recommend checking this one out!
MAC Grain Eye Shadow
This is the perfect lid colour. I've been wearing this on my lid with different colours in my crease every day without fail. I am yet to find a crease colour that this eye shadow does not go with!
 Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer
This concealer is thick and creamy. It's  long wearing and covers up my under eye circles really well. Plus it contains apricots which makes it good for your skin too! I've nearly used this up now so you will probably be seeing it again when I put up my December Empties!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl in Nude
I've been using this to line my waterline almost every day in November. The product is creamy and long wearing. I usually wear black on my waterline and fancied trying something a bit more natural.  I've tried wearing white on my waterline but I don't really like the way it looks on me so this is a great alternative!

Well that's it for my November Favourites and thank you for reading! Which products were your favourites in November?
